Wendelin is a kind person with a good sense of humour and a bright outlook on life. I fully enjoyed my time in Freiburg – also because Wendelin made sure that his place felt to me like home. The room itself is excellent – spacious, clean, bright. The kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped. Sure, there are rules (you are entering a German household after all!), but they make sense. The location of the accommodation is very good – in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to a tram station, not too far away from the city centre, near a convenience store, a fine pizzeria, a coffee place with a wonderful view etc. If you do not expect a party district, you will be fine. All in all, I would recommend Wendelin and his room(s) to anyone who is looking for an open minded and friendly place and is open to a good quality conversation. However, it is not a party place and does not pretend to be. Wendelin’s place is for adults who are young at heart, not for kids who pretend to be adult.

Really great place. Fully equipped kitchen , also has a washing machine. We really enjoyed our stay. Last time we had stayed at a hotel, but this Airbnb is far better than any of the hotels. Slight downside is that the kitchen , toilet and bathroom is shared with one other tenant.

Beautiful all-round package with great hiking routes located directly around the guesthouse. David is a very warm host who takes care of his guests. A great extra is the indoor pool and sauna, which we enjoyed with a lot of joy. The pool and Sauana have stayed a little in the 70s style, which has a great charm, especially since everything still works smoothly. In a large dining area you can easily prepare breakfast or dinner with the adjoining kitchen, where everything is available. The large TV in the living room leaves nothing to be desired as a smart TV. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice location! Right in nature :) The kitchen is a little small. But the Redtaurant next door is a good alternative.

Very good stay. Clean, well-equipped, well-located room (near Colmar, Eguisheim, Freribourg-en-Brisgau) and as described (air conditioning and quality bedding allowed us to spend pleasant nights during the heatwave). The pool area is quiet and well kept. We recommend!

Very well located by reference to the park. Very functional.

On Brigitte's balcony, the birds sing. We slept like princesses , pampered by Brigitte's attentions. The landscape is magical, the fir trees were wrapped in snow, and our eyes were sparkling with fun. The place is peaceful and the calm is refreshing. Brigitte is there for any information and advice. The warmest of hospitality. A rich human encounter. Thank you!
