It is your home away from home, with its own history and character, offering a calm retreat or a base between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg for exploring the Rhine Valley, Black Forest, and the Vosges. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the village bakeries for morning bread and 10 min to the lake & beach. Whether you are visiting as a couple, family or a group of ten, we hope you find it as welcoming and peaceful as we do.

Vacation home in the chestnut forest

Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. The house has a big garden with a magnificent old stock of trees and a little creek. As this house was renovated looking after the design and the details and also with some technical refinements, i am looking forward to welcome you into this cozy home.

In winter, the nearby ski slopes are a popular destination - if you like it cozy, you can enjoy the wood crackling in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.
