Great 6-night stay in an amazing apartment! We stayed here for 6 nights with our 3 small kids. As a family that travels a lot, we were really impressed to find such a perfect place. The apartment has everything you could need - it's fully equipped down to the smallest detail. The host was friendly and helpful, and the place itself is warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The space is much bigger than what you see in the photos - reality is even better! Location is excellent too - just a 10-minute drive from Hallstatt and other local attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. We enjoyed every moment in this wonderful apartment, and when we return to Salzburg, we'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a great place to stay!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable

We had a wonderful time in Karin's accommodation. Karins parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra toy basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

Great place to stay. It's very clean, nice, comfortable and relaxing.

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

We had a great time in a wonderful house. With the range of children's attractions and toys, it is like a paradise for children. This way, you can easily get through rainy days. Eike and Verena are very great hosts, lots of good tips and always great communication. Many things are simply available and Verena and Eike think well about what you might need. All around a successful stay for us. Thank you for that!

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's accommodation is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The accommodation is really nice and there was nothing we lacked. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. She always gave personal tips on hikes and local events. There is much more to be said here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from our own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

A beautiful apartment, very thought, well maintain, super clean and super equipped We will love coming again

This place deserves 6 stars. We spent 3 weeks visiting Germany and Austria and this was our top stay! I wish we would have stayed for a full week. The location of this apartment is great for hiking as well as walking the city center. Having parking was a rare and wonderful perk. The apartment itself had absolutely everything my family needed and was spotless. The hosts allowed us to check in early when we were rained out from a hike. We will definitely stay here again but for longer next time!

This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve been to. An absolute dream- the sweet sheep in the yard and the views from the windows are incredible. We came for Hallstatt but Obertraun was our absolute favorite. Also the host let us borrow bikes which made our trip even more incredible. The bike paths were stunning. 10/10 stay!

Ingrid was a fantastic host. Her commumication before and during our stay was excellent. She met us personally on arrival and when we left, providing helpful hints and tips about the local area. The apartment was in a great location within Hallstatt and ideal for visiting the surrounding areas. Providing a dedicated parking space outside the apartment was really helpful given the parking restrictions in the village itself. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid thought of everything from robes to slippers, umbrellas to toiletries and much more. We had a lovely relaxing week and are very grateful for Ingrid's care and consideration throughout. We would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Hallstatt and surrounding areas.

We had a super nice and relaxing holiday – full of hikes, cycling and tennis! The location of the accommodation is simply ideal, in a small, quiet village with enchanting views of nature. The apartments are clean, cozy and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. Peter Ben was a great host: incredibly nice, helpful and very polite. We would come back anytime and miss it already. Thank you for the great time!

Super, clean, silent.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

The apartment is idyllically located in top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming facility. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment, you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very kind and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time in the accommodation/area. Everything is very lovingly furnished. A highlight is the large balcony with a great view of the mountains. Communication with the hosts went smoothly and left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back!

We travel in this area every year and were now guests of Franz for the second time. For nature lovers seeking peace and quiet, the area is an absolute dream. During our stay, we explored the Wilden Berg in Mautern, visited the Schaibelsee in Hohentauern, hiked to the Schwarzbeeralm and swam in the beautiful bathing lake in the village. There's something for everyone! Franz is a wonderful host and the apartment was super clean again and really has everything you need.

Tadeja is a great hostess. She really went above and beyond to help me get situated in her place. Even picked me up at the train station when she had work the next day. 5 stars. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great place. Beautiful, spacious and with a great garden.

When we arrived at the place, we were impressed by the beautiful surrounding landscape. The check-in process is well described and was conquered on the first try. The apartment breathed a piece of home on us and was a great starting point for all-day hiking trips. The apartment has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and tops of the Alps, the sunrise here is captivating. We didn't want to leave. Thank you 😉👍
