Waldaue

Our Waldbach location is situated on the edge of an idyllic farm in the Westerwald region, with a wide view over meadows and forests as far as the eye can see. In the background, the gentle sound of a small stream accompanies you – your soundtrack to slowing down. Hiking trails through forest and field start directly from the cabin. The surrounding area can also be explored wonderfully by bike. In the evening you sit on the terrace or by the fire – with a wide view of nature and the feeling of being completely at one with yourself.

Your holiday starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area, right next to the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours straight away. The apartment has one bedroom, guest rooms for two additional guests, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can barbecue and enjoy the sun on the large southeast terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is situated in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw away from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated over the past few years; only the façade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic, and a large property (approx. 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main noises are the occasional bleating of the neighbour's sheep.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon stands under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional place to stay with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Apartment by the forest / Westerwald

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALD. Close to Obererbach lies the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorcycle trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. The Obererbach railway connection (one stop to the centre) is within walking distance of the village. You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

From the garden there is direct access to the forest, from where you can take lovely walks. There are several beautiful hiking trails nearby, such as the Westerwaldsteig and the Wiedweg. Nestled in nature and equipped with a breathtaking lake view, this penthouse allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake. Sun loungers, a SuP and a kayak are available there.

Discover the lovingly restored 18th-century half-timbered house. century. Renovated in 2024, Casa Canvas combines historic charm with modern comfort. The entire house is at your disposal. 2000 sqm of garden can be shared by arrangement and offer you space to relax. A grill is available. The terrace invites you to linger in the evening and on weekends. (During the day on weekdays, the terrace is used by the adjacent office.)

Small rustic accommodation in a clay building

We offer a small accommodation in an old half-timbered house in the beautiful Westerwald. The apartment is located on the first floor. We have almost completely renovated it ourselves with attention to detail. By arrangement, the garden with fireplace can be used. We look forward to seeing you. I live here on the farm with my wife, my children and my parents. That's why it's lively here :)
