This is the third time I've stayed in Katherine's 'shepherd's hut'. It is a beautifully situated, cosy and peaceful retreat from which to explore Oxford. Katherine is a great host, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I'm sure I'll be back for a fourth time soon.

We only stayed 2 nights but Thelma’s place was excellent. Very clean and tidy, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. A lovely place to relax especially in your own little garden space to the side, which is where I spend most of my time! Thelma is a lovely lady and correspondence with her was first class. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back for a longer stay when we can.

Wonderful stay at the The View. Sally and family were very welcoming, stayed with husband and young children who loved seeing rabbits running wild around the garden. Lovely little gem close to everything we wanted to visit. Thank you Sinead and family

I really enjoyed my stay at Helena's. The space was fantastic, very clean and well stocked, and in a beautiful setting - both in the grounds of the house and the village. It was really convenient to get to Oxford both on the train and driving. There are plenty of pubs to choose from and a Co-op a short walk away. I can highly recommend staying at Helena's and hope to return again soon!

Our stay was perfect - we loved it. The views our amazing; it is very peaceful and the hot tub and fire were a bonus.

We had a lovely stay in the shepherds huts with our daughter. She loved the bunk beds to sleep in and enjoyed the camping like experience. We played scrabble in the evenings in the kitchen and she had lots of fun doing lots of handstands on the grass out the front of the huts! We then had a lovely walk along the foot path just down the road. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something wholesome.

It was great staying at The Lodge! Such a unique little house, very original! We really liked its charm and appreciated the beautiful interior design, the little extras (milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, flowers (!), body wash, shampoo AND conditioner)! Many thanks for being such a wonderful host!

We had one of our most amazing stays here! Place is meticulously crafted for you to relax, have some nice hot tube experience, roast some bbq and just chill! Location is near a lot of cool places to visit — Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge and many more, make sure to ask Richard some recommendations! Richard is an amazing host with great attention to details. Fresh coffee beans or anything you need from a shop? He’s here to help you. Let alone wealth of experience that he’s ready to share during a nice morning outside coffee! Must visit! We’ll be back loads of times!

What an absolute find!!!! The place is better than the photos! Clear instructions to arrive and get in. Uber responsive host. And an absolutely dream place to stay. (Booked for friends)

Host was responsive and very amenable. Couldn't have been more helpful during our stay but we still had our privacy. Immaculate and homely accommodation with everything we needed. Lots of well thought out small touches like milk, ice, fully working TV with plenty of channels, and even some dog treats and a bit of food had we forgotten anything. We had a busy weekend at an event and it was sublime to return to Little Welcroft.

The POD was amazing a home from home. Everything you want from your stay, clean, tidy and peaceful. It’s well equipped and has an amazing shower and bathroom plus the bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or long stay a perfect host and accommodation.

Beautiful shepherds hut in beautiful surroundings with everything you could need. The wood fired hot tub was amazing! Tom and Laura had great communication and we would definitely come back :)

Had a lovely stay - beautiful cabin with great style, comfort and amenities. Charming setting and though we were warned about traffic, it didn’t bother us at all and perfect location. Thoroughly recommend! Had tasty meal at The Feathers, just up the road and friendly staff and delicious food.

A perfect countryside escape! My partner and I recently stayed at the sheep shed and had such a fantastic experience. The hut was cozy, clean and thoughtfully designed - everything you need for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the little touches made it feel extra special. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway. Surrounded by nature, it was incredibly relaxing to sit outside with a coffee in the morning or stargaze at night. It felt remote and private, but still accessible to local walks and nearby villages/pubs. The hosts were very helpful and check in was smooth and easy, you could tell they’d put a lot of care into creating a warm, inviting space. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful rural setting. We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay here in June 2025 at this wonderful hidden gem in the Oxfordshire countryside. The hot tub is just great to relax in with a glass of something cold and fizzy. The bed is comfy and cosy. The goodie box with fresh bread was a winner! Shower fitted with a rain head We would come back and stay here again. 11/10*

A lovely stay, a cute and intimate Airbnb. Perfect with everything I needed in terms of basics for my stay. My hosts were very friendly with clear instructions on how to enter the cabin and how to leave things.

I had a lovely stay at the tiny house, nestled in amongst Milan and Martina's beautiful, peaceful garden. The tiny house is so cute and comfortable. I had a very warm and friendly welcome and got to learn a little about how the tiny house had come to be. It may be tiny is size but it is not tiny in character or in having everything you need. All in all a very comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay. I especially liked all the little touches and the breakfast was lovely! Would definitely recommend.

Prew is an excellent host; friendly, welcoming, generous with her time, and very helpful. The studio is set in lovely garden. It is well equipped, intimate but with a spacious living area. The village is a great location from which to explore Oxfordshire, and is close to all essential facilities. Highly recommended!
