The story goes that Casa de Pedra D'Alborinhas was built in the 19th century by Mr. Custódio Alexandre, who lived here and started a family. "Alborinhas" was the name given at the time and in the region, to small, red plums. His great-grandson, along with his wife, decided to keep the memory and childhood memories, dedicating all their Love to the reconstruction of these walls. The first time I saw this house inside, I immediately fell in love with it! It's a typical house from the Porto region from the 1st half of the XX century, straight and tall (high ceilings), symmetric, with a long, large corridor throughout the house. Rooms have 2 doors, closing towards each other, resulting in a very pleasant feeling of space when both doors are open. It feels like you're living in an open space, but with walls and rooms. You should try it yourself to get the feeling!
