It is the result of the reconstruction of an old wine cellar, with all the amenities: equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and living room. In the outdoor space, which is shared, you can find a garden, swimming pool (in summer) and a place to enjoy the space. The house, however, does not allow any kind of events, parties or birthdays, and access is exclusively allowed to the people in the reservation.

The accommodation is approximately 4km from Castelo de Paiva and 45km from Porto.

Quinta do Mirante is over a hundred years old. Formerly a wine farm, our house is located on the hillside of the green valley where the rivers Douro, Paiva and Tamega meet. The name ‘Mirante’ was inspired by the view seen from a uniquely large rock studded with cedar trees. Roughly 50 kilometres from Porto, the airport and the long beaches, we are happy to be comfortable nestled close to the city but far enough inland to be part of Portugal’s famous wine country.

Our guest house is located near the beach where there are some nice easy waves and great beach area. There is a big forest area nearby in the south that extends along the shoreline where you’ll be able to find good waves, clean water and fantastic running and cycling paths. If forest and beach is not your thing then on the north you have a beautiful lagoon area with wooden walkways that allow to enjoy a great relaxed walk or cycling tour.

Casa do Sobrado in Arouca

Rustic villa, from 1851, located in the heart of Albergaria da Serra, in Arouca. A typical, very old village, consisting mostly of Serrano-type houses, made of granite stone and thatched and shale roofs. It is common, several times a day, to come across the village's sidewalk paths, with "traffic" of grazing animals, namely the Arouquesa cows, a certified and protected species, raised in the valleys and hills of the Serra da Freita.

CC - Casa da Costa

The house is located between the Beach and Ria de Aveiro, with a typical style of a house in Costa Nova. The exterior features the traditional colorful list in shades of red and white. Located in a gated community overlooking a garden terrace. CC guests have privileged access to the beach and walkways, or can simply stay in the comfort of the home enjoying a beautiful view of the Ria de Aveiro.
