Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Florence, Jeff et Pauline seront ravis de vous accueillir à la chambre d'hôtes de la Palentine. Le logement de 24 m2 se compose d'une chambre de 16 m2, d'une salle d'eau avec douche à l'italienne de 200x90, de toilettes, d'une grande penderie. L'entrée de la chambre est indépendante de la maison mais attenante. Un garage fermé est à disposition pour les vélos ou les motos. Nous vous proposons un petit déjeuner complet pour 7,5 euros par personne.
