Thanks to its location in the Ellertal valley, at the foot of the Franconian Jura, the municipality is considered part of northern Franconian Switzerland. So, you can get started in the region practically straight away. With us, you can experience unspoilt nature, numerous hiking trails and plenty of attractions, with the added bonus of being within a 10-minute drive of Bamberg.

In the village of Streitberg there are also many sights and activities to discover: - Neideck Castle ruins, Streitburg and Binghöhle - Hiking/climbing routes, mountain bike trails and well-developed bike paths - Kayaking, fishing, swimming - Franconian Switzerland museum railway - Hertlein distillery (Streitberger Bitter)

Geisfeld is only 10 minutes from Bamberg - the beer city with the famous Rauchbier (Schlenkerla). The old town in the sand area offers beautiful rustic pubs and Little Venice. The beautifully painted town hall stands in the middle of the Regnitz. Many cycling and hiking trails are available. Franconian Switzerland offers more than 4,500 km of hiking trails through graceful valleys and rocky landscapes. Some caves guarantee an experience for the whole family with their fascinating underworld.

Cyclists and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 vacation homes with private, separate outdoor areas. Free parking at the house.

We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. Telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available, making our accommodation also ideal for home office with family. The nearest shopping is 4 km away.
