Medenscheid offers you a breathtaking view down into the Middle Rhine Valley, more precisely of the medieval town of Bacharach. Enjoy the tranquility and relaxed atmosphere of our village. You have excellent opportunities for hiking, enjoying and lingering, strolling in Bacharach on the banks of the Poesie or hiking extensively around Medenscheid.

High above the largest rock of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" the legend of the Loreley floats with all its myths. A spectacular view of the three medieval castles Katz, Maus and Rheinfels and the Loreleyfelsen makes hearts beat faster. The Rheinsteig, one of the most popular hiking trails in Europe, leads with its most picturesque stage directly past the house. Excellent wines from the steep, sunny slopes make this region a pleasure.

Hey dear guests, If you want to take a vacation in the beautiful Soonwald, which invites you to beautiful hikes, bike and motorcycle tours, then I would be happy if you would like to spend a few days in my small cozy apartment. The apartment is 46 sqm, has a large living room with an integrated kitchen. It features a small bedroom with a 140 m wide double bed. Next to it is a small bathroom with shower. Otherwise, a large garden adjoins the apartment.

Friendly contacts exist with the winegrowing families from Meddersheim and with the top wineries Emrich-Schönleber in Monzingen and Dönnhoff in Oberhausen. The wine refrigerator is always well-stocked and wine tastings can be arranged individually.
