Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Auburn

Nice little farmhouse that served as a rest stop on a long road trip with the family. The toddler bed and crib were great features. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of toys to entertain the kids. They even included homemade bread which was a nice touch. We also got to see the cows before getting back on the road. Would stay here again.

We had our eye on this property for a while, and once the yard was fully fenced in, we knew it was the perfect spot for our summer vacation: 7 people and one happy pup. The fenced yard was a huge plus for our dog, and the home itself did not disappoint. Spacious inside and out, with large bathrooms and plenty of room for everyone to relax. Communication with our host, Lauren, was excellent, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal; a great base for day trips around Lake Cayuga and even over to Lake Seneca. Thoughtful extras like a dog bed, treats, extra towels, and more made the stay even better. With our group of 7, we hit the maximum capacity, and it still felt just right. Highly recommend!

This was a great weekend getaway. Beautiful location, great amenities. Unfortunately it rained the weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful deck or fire pit. Will book again

5/5 Stars – A Perfect Family Getaway in Skaneateles, NY! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, upgraded home in Skaneateles! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, comfortable, and well-maintained everything was. The house had everything we needed, and the thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. Our kids especially had a blast with the trampoline and playhouse in the yard—they couldn’t get enough! In the evenings, we enjoyed the serene campfire in the backyard, making s’mores and relaxing under the stars. The front pond added such a peaceful, picturesque touch to the property. We also appreciated how safe and family-friendly the house and neighborhood felt. It was the perfect setting for a memorable family trip. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Danielle‘s place was fantastic! We loved the chic decor and modern touches, and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. We also loved the location: convenient to the lake and also the town of Geneva, we got our steps in by exploring many of the local attractions. We highly recommend Danielle’s place and plan to stay there again in the future!

This was our family’s first visit to the Finger Lakes and the magical treehouse was such a special find for our stay. It was the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. We found the place to be very comfortable and inviting. We loved the close proximity to Ithaca so days could be easily split between relaxing by the lake and experiencing the fun shops and eateries downtown. A college visit to Cornell for our daughter was also a breeze thanks to the location of the house. Incredible hikes (Watkins Glen was breathtaking) and many wineries are also just minutes away. Just a note…the steps from the driveway to the house are a bit intense so I would caution those with mobility issues.

Great quiet and lovely location for a get-a-way. Near the finger lakes, waterfalls, hiking, Skaneateles (we loved), Auburn & Syracuse. Clean and nicely decorated. Stairs leading up to Cottage were not bad, secure railing helps. Nicely stocked with day to day items. Faucet water was drinkable, in fact crisp. Not a regret at all with booking it!

Staying at this charming little cottage near the Finger Lakes was an absolute delight. The moment we arrived, I felt as if I’d been transported to Scandinavia, surrounded by serene natural beauty and peaceful views. The quiet sounds of nature made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Alicia was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating, making sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Without a doubt, this is a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can’t wait to return for a longer visit to explore more of the property and the surrounding town! Thank you again!

Beautiful weekend spot for my family while we were in town for an Upstate Graduation. Jeffrey’s team was pleasant and very responsive. Oh and the Blackberry Mint Julep was amazing!

Our stay and at Glenn and Diana’s place couldn’t have been better - from the beautiful spacious loft with an awesome lake view to the location which was close to brewers, wineries, and the parks/trails we wanted to see. Not to mention how responsive, welcoming, and friendly Diana and Glenn were. They made us feel right at home. We look forward to another stay with them in the future.

By far one of the nicest, cleanest, and well equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. It also smelled amazing ! We stayed for the weekend with one of the days being a night in where we cooked dinner. The kitchen has everything you might possibly need to cook a meal. The coffee book was an adorable touch and the bathroom was squeaky clean. In fact, I don’t typically like showering at Airbnbs but this bathroom was cleaner than mine at home ! My fiancé was a big fan of the bidet lol would absolutely stay again and plan on it!

Melissa is an absolutely amazing host! She not only provided some breakfast items, but also personally welcomed us in the evening with a warm introduction and thoughtful recommendations for local food and attractions. We truly loved her and appreciated everything she did for us. The house itself was incredibly cozy and filled with warmth—it’s clear that the owner has a deep love for life. There were beautiful flowers, charming decorations in every corner, and adorable Jellycat plushies that added a lovely touch. If our travel schedule had allowed, we would have loved to stay even longer.

Great stopover place to stay and let dogs run in the giant yard. Got a good night's sleep. Left a shirt and Bronwyn was kind enough to drop it in the mail for me. Thank you Bronwyn!

Great place to visit. The host was super responsive and generously left fresh farm eggs for us! The place is cute and comfortable and on a farm. We booked this super last minute and they were beyond accommodating! Allowed flexible check out and was really helpful with local recommendations. The bed was really comfortable and the place was spotless. Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved our stay in this cozy little cabin on 5 acres. It was exactly what we needed, peaceful, rustic and full of charm. It felt like a hunting lodge retreat with just the right touch of romance. The fire pit was amazing and the woodshed was fully stocked, which made it easy to enjoy cozy evenings under the stars by the fire. We even lost power our first night and honestly, it made the experience feel even more like a fun camping adventure, totally perfect getaway, we'd come back in a heartbeat. EJ was extremely responsive and very accommodating especially during the power outage. I would 100% recommend this location to anyone!

Great Stay Great Cabin! Everything was clean we felt comfortable there. The hot tub was great after the 2.4 mile walk at Watkins glen. It was too cold for us to kayak but it was nice sitting by the water and chilling. Loved the sound of the water at night.

I've booked this listing twice so far and I can definitely say that Nicole is one of the net, most accommodating, and patient people I've dealt with in all of my Airbnb experiences. This most recent visit was impacted by some personal conflicts on my end with timing and being able to get out there as planned but Nicole was incredibly helpful, offering solutions and more than willing to work with me on any obstacle that seemed to pop up. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and if I had my choice, this is the only place in this area I'd choose to stay whenever I visit NY. The cabins are very clean, comfortable, and have more than enough space - or course I highly recommend this place!
