Alec was very communicative when we had a power outage due to a bad storm, and kept us updated on when it was going to be back on. He was very supportive in answering all of our general questions as well. Highly recommend staying here and would stay here again"

This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

Drift away was a wonderful cottage right on the lake. Place was extremely comfortable. Beautiful views. We didn’t have the greatest weather which would have made the trip so much better, so we hope to plan a trip back soon.

Peppermint Cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The scent of peppermint welcomed us upon our arrival. The fireplace and wide-plank floors created a perfect ambiance as we enjoyed the comfortable, cozy living room. The beds were comfy and the sheets crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to visit again someday.

This apartment was a great stay, very spacious for our party of 3, and it was close to everything we needed in Oswego. This is quite specific, but loved the plants at the kitchen window, impressive gardening. Overall recommend! We will be staying here again when visiting Oswego in the future.

The place was spacious and relaxing. It had a lot of charm - we loved the old farmhouse feel - and it had everything we needed. I appreciate little things like the electric tea kettle, and that there were extra towels in each bathroom. David was very responsive and helped when we had a small issue, but gave us plenty of space / privacy. We hope to return sometime soon!

The stay at Ferryland was amazing! Ontario lake is such a powerful and beautiful place to be. Jan made the stay possible, easy and comfortable. Will highly consider vacationing again here!!!

It was a beautiful little cabin with everything you could need and want! The breakfast they delivered was delicious! It was an all around easy and peaceful stay!

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

Being a dog friendly space was very important to us. The backyard was the perfect place for our dog to be let out and for him to explore on his own. Although the space doesn't have AC, or it wasn't on when we were there, it cools off very fast if you leave the door open for a little! Ithaca is a beautiful town with lots to explore, many dog friendly places, and things to do without the pup when the evening calls for it. We recommend this space and the town for a few days get away!

Casey's place was wonderful and she was a helpful host, helping me out of a small snafu I created. The location was amazing, views great, and space very welcoming. While the high temps kept us from exploring as much as we had planned, we got a few walks in around the property and it is a beautiful place to hike, so private and peaceful. Relaxing on the porch reading a book was perfect. And watching a storm roll in and create waves in the fields of tall grass was zen-like. We will be back!

Lisa was an amazing host! The cabin is very well kept and has everything you could need. Beautiful mountain view too! I went for a week of hiking and Lisa’s son left me a whole page length note telling me about great hiking trails around the area and accurate details on how to get there. Great recommendations too! Will definitely stay here again if I return to this area.

Springs Retreat offers a unique, delightful, and heartwarming escape at a stellar location in the Finger Lakes region. Nestled privately behind the main property in a serene wooded area, Springs Retreat is the perfect blend of nature and comfort, with unbelievably accommodating hosts to boot. The tiny cabin is peaceful, cozy, full of rustic charm, and oh so inviting for unwinding. The unfortunate downside is that your stay will eventually come to an end. I would absolutely stay here again and wouldn't flinch recommending it.

We stayed at Rebecca's one night for a concert at the JMA dome and the location was perfect! It looks just like the pictures very clean and cozy! A walkable road if you bring a dog. She even messaged me shortly after we left to let me know I forgot my coffee cup which I greatly appreciated !!! We would definitely stay there again when we're in the area! Highly recommend!!

Very cute cabin. We loved stepping out onto the deck and enjoying our morning cup of coffee with the sound of the stream in close proximity and the lovely view of the trees. My husband enjoyed a little fishing on the pond within walking distance of the cabin. As mentioned in the description, it is very close to the road. If you're a light sleeper, take some ear plugs. Also, it is a cabin so note that there may be a critter or 2 inside the cabin and bug bites are very much a part of the experience. I woke up with several bites. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The shared kitchen was also helpful. We did cook a little breakfast there every day. Of the 2 cabins available by this host, this one has a little more privacy. All in all, we would love to return in the future. Great hosts.

Another great stay at this perfect home away from home. Nancy has thought of everything you and your pup will need for an incredibly comfortable vacation on the lake. There is a ton to do and explore in the surrounding area. Some of the highlights this year were the Geneva Lake trail, Grounded (cute cafe that allows dogs inside or out!), The Spotted Duck (amazing ice cream and they offer pup cups), Billsboro winery (chocolate truffle & wine pairing, also dog friendly), and Dean Lane Dining (no pets) in Dundee. And then there’s the magic of sunrise from Nancy’s deck and evenings just watching fish jumping, birds flying, and ducks swimming, all from the glider on the dock. Simple pleasures abound here.

Gratitude and Grace is an escape from the ordinary. Its a beautiful unique property in the country that was just about perfect for me and 7 bridesmaids for my low key Bachelorette. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, as it is normally a wedding venue. The inside of the mansion is eclectic and vintage. Ron is very nice and accommodating as well. Some things i may improve: Soap was watered down in all bathrooms Beds werent exactly comfortable, they seemed very old. Hot tub was just nice, It didnt get very hot though and the water was a bit cloudy The most comfortable bed is in the tiny rennovated garden shed. Although peaceful, we did have to request it be opened so we had the 8th bed as advertised. 2 girls had to bunk up together the 1st night, no big deal but would have been nice to know the 8th bed wasnt automatically available. The 7th bed is a fun loft with a ladder above a king sized bed. It was cute, but the bed was very uncomfortable so no one wanted it.

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

A great rustic getaway! It was great being between cayuga and seneca lakes - everything was a 20 min drive to see beautiful falls in every direction, great wineries/cideries (finger lakes cider house had amazing food to go with the cider), great restaurants (stonecat and elf in the oak) and Ithaca Farmer's Market (must see - so plan a Sat or Sun there). Sunsets were fabulous from the porch and over the fields and the hens were a joy to experience - so cute - and the gentle Q was so good with our cautious rescue pup. But the best part of the stay was Carey's hospitality - tending to every need and providing great suggestions of things to do/see tailored to our interests and giving us a true taste of the area - with local fresh eggs, fruit, wonderful baked bread, granola, cider, wine, cheese, baked goods and the best yogurt ever! We didn't even miss the tv (during football and world series even)!

Joan and Leo are great hosts. The home and property are beautiful. Home is very spacious and unique. We had such a good time sitting out by the pool, walking the local trails, and just being able to spend quality time together as a family. All the books were fun to look at and read some. All the art work in the home inspired us to leave some of our own art for Joan and Leo.

With both our kids meeting up with us, the kitchen worked like a charm as they were very excited for a home cooked meal. Also, the description on the website matched very well, and it was clear how much the nightly rate would be beyond the two of us. We would certainly stay again.

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

Our extended family of 8 stayed here for Colgate's 2025 graduation weekend. The location was definitely further away than I wanted (not the host's fault of course) but it ended up working out great. Door to door it's a 35 minute drive, so while we weren't able to go 'back and forth' as much as if we were staying closer, it was a great place to wake up in and return 'home' to at the end of the day's events. There was plenty of room for two sets of grandparents, two siblings and the grad's parents. We loved making coffee and breakfast in the morning and enjoying the absolutely glorious view from the house, plus the kitchen table was a fun end of day gathering spot for us all. Shawn was communicative and accommodating, especially when one pair of guests were way ahead of arrival time, allowing them to enter the property early. I had not been aware of DeRuyter or the lake prior to this, but am glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this home and the area!
