Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Auburn

We had a great time, it’s a very nice place to stay. This house is out of the way, in a canal on the lake. Doesn’t take a lot of time by boat to get back to the main lake. Very quiet and peaceful location on the end of the road. The host was very clean and we had no issues the entire trip. The host very helpful and caring. I will be back to stay! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeslide Retreat! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed with all that was included in the amenities. We enjoyed the pool, and it was perfect for all ages. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great going around Lake Martin. It was so convenient to have the dock for our boat since we rented it for two days. Mary was a great, helpful host and always punctual in her replies. We absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Awesome place and even better in person than the pictures. It was perfect for our family. (Couple with 3 and 5 year old) House is basically brand new, has everything you need and everything is very clean! My kids jumped off the dock for hours and we loved every second - 5 year old cried her eyes out when we had to leave. Awesome views from the house and dock. Hosts provided very detailed info for everything you could think of. We hope to be back soon!

We were in town for a baseball tournament, our first night got rained out and we needed a later checkout. Although it was late, the hosts were still responsive and accommodating, allowing a later checkout so that we were not put out with hours before our game. The home was beautiful, clean, and matched the description perfectly. Thank you!

We had a group of 6 people staying at Punt Bama Punt for the final Bo Bikes Bama ride. We all brought road bikes for Bo ride, and mountain bikes to ride at Chewacla State Park (we had several friends camping there). The location was great! 4 miles to Chewacla and 2 miles to town. The house was perfect! Love the layout, plenty of seating in living room, dining room, and patio for all of us. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and glasses along with cooking supplies. The coffee pot was both drip and k-cup. Emily had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each of the 3 bathrooms. There wash toilet paper, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap, sponges, dish towels. There was also clothes soap for the washing machine. Having the garage was a huge plus to store all of our bikes! We all really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch for sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend Emily’s place. It wash beautifully furnished and had all of the amenities of home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can’t say enough good things about this stay, and this host. The responsive nature accommodating our needs, feeling right at home when you walked in, along with the friendly neighbors and all around well maintained property. We like trying different bnb’s around lake Martin but the Daine lodge may have just made a regular out of us.

A very nice, comfortable and quiet escape from the busyness of graduation weekend. We were there to help move my son out of his freshman dorm and into a new apartment and even though Lake Martin is 40 mins from Auburn, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere made it a super place to stay. Minor things like a couple of Kurig pods for when you first get there and perhaps a couple more bath towels would have been welcome. Overall highly recommended for a condo on Lake Martin

Our stay was amazing! The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. We loved the attention to detail, from the comfortable beds and quality linens to the well-stocked kitchen that made cooking meals a breeze. The location was perfect: close to campus, yet peaceful and quiet for relaxing evenings. Mary Lou was a fantastic host, always responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Auburn! We look forward to coming back on our next trip to the area. Thank you, Mary Lou, for a wonderful experience!

We were in town for my brother-in-law’s turning green ceremony and this was exactly what was needed for our family. Great stay.

Perfect place for a family!!! You can view the pool and the lake beach from the balcony. The marina is very close (4 mins) and boat slips right outside if you’re bringing a boat. Also, a boat service (paid) to help Dad get to/from if mom has the kids. But, you don’t need a boat to have fun here! The pool and the lake with the little beach is just perfect. There are grills and an outside entertainment space if you don’t want to fight restaurant crowds. Also- everyone (including the host) in the area was extremely nice and helpful! That is not always the case in residential areas with airbnbs. I would absolutely recommend this for a family getaway!

Great location for me, conveniently located to Piedmont Columbus Midtown where I work. I was easily comfortable here and loved the size of the TV, the comfortable furniture and bed. I would love to stay here again

What a beautiful property! We were in town for a family wedding in Waverly and The Hive was a very easy commute. We also enjoyed checking out the Auburn University Campus which was near by. Mark was a great host - he quickly responded to a question I had while visiting and had clear instructions as to the location and check-in / check-out process. The home is spacious and more importantly CLEAN! Thank you Mark for the eggs from your chickens - our family members certainly enjoyed them! We give The Hive 5 out of 5 stars!

We had a great family get together here. Plenty of space for the six of us, rented a boat and used the brand new dock, which was great! Used the paddle boards and tube! Lots of sun. Fire pit was awesome. Played ping pong, watched a movie, tried the karaoke machine but didn’t work great for us. Top bedroom air conditioner was a bit noisy, but earplugs were provided! Had to contact Chris only once for a question and he responded very quickly! Great host, great house.

Peaceful cabin near a small town. Great place to relax and get away. Good restaurants in town near by. Ben and Sarai are great hosts.

We are spontaneous travelers. It can be risky staying at last minute places, but not this time! Katelynn's cabin is just perfect. Location is great, tucked back in a quiet little neighborhood, but still close to tons of things to do. The home is fully stocked with anything you could need, and then some. Katelynn is an amazing host, super helpful and informative. We will be adding it to our go to list for future adventures.

This area was a lovely surprise. Although you are not lake front, the D.A.R.E. Power Park with its beach and boat launch areas was less than 2 miles away. The cabin has all of the basics we needed to cook in and spend time together—which was our main objective. Opelika is not far away and (if you get storms, as we did) it has cute shops, breweries, and good food. It was easy to check in and out. Quiet area with nice people.

We travel a good bit so we stay in a lot of Air BNBs. This place might be the best maintained place we have ever stayed. I wish other hosts would take notes from these hosts. Great job and we will be back!

The lake cabin was beautiful and peaceful; perfect for my all too brief retreat.
