Thanasis is the best host we've ever had in any AirBnB. Always responded quickly and the service was always very personal and friendly. The house is close to the centre of Rethymno, so it was easy to get around the city by car. It was also easy to move from the house to the south of the island. There are a few good grocery stores, pharmacies and several restaurants near the house. However, the destination is so far from everything that a car is recommended. The swimming pool is clean and was cleaned daily. Air conditioning in every room makes living comfortable, the beds were also good. The internet connection was fast and there is a large TV in the living room. We got good tips from Thanas on nearby restaurants and beaches, which made it easier to spend the holiday. We also managed to agree on a late check-out which was really important to us because of the evening flight. We can warmly recommend this place for sightseeing in Crete!

The stay at the villa was amazing. Prior to this, we were already able to look forward to our vacation due to the beautiful photos. The quick and friendly communication with Georgios finished it off. Once arrived it was exactly as hoped! a wonderful place to stay! Unfortunately, we had 5 bad weather, so we stayed inside the mornings and evenings. Despite the fact that we did not use the pool as dreamed, the villa offered enough comfort to BBQ and eat inside at the large table even with rain and wind outside under the canopy. We had a nice holiday and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings! Recommended due to the central location and super nice host!

We absolutely loved our stay at Valia’s place! The home was beautiful and private. After a busy week hoping around the Greek mainland we were very excited to relax by the pool, cook food, and just enjoy eachother’s company. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The village itself was walkable and quaint. Definitely recommend this stay!

Manolis and his parents are the perfect hosts! I stayed for a month (Oct-Nov '23) while holidaying and working remotely. Manolis is extremely proactive and friendly and always went the extra mile to make my stay smooth and enjoyable. The family have invested a lot of time and careful thought into the complex and its apartments, with mine having a distinct and homely character and a sunny balcony. I would highly recommend staying with Manolis, especially for longer stays, as I did.
