Beautiful home in a peaceful little village. Very good taverns within walking distance. The accommodation is superb, the decoration neat, the bedding very good and everything is very clean! Friendly welcome. Our stay was too short! Avva responds quickly to messages. I would highly recommend this house!

Wonderful stay! The location is incredible. It’s in a beautiful area with historic alleyways, very walkable but not right next to bars so it’s not very loud at night. There is some noise at night as people are walking home and sit outside, but nothing that prevented us from sleeping well. The space was very clean and perfect for our stay. Michalis was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable and took care of everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here!

My family and I had an amazing time during our recent stay at Christos place. Everything we needed was available, and or Christos ensured we had it. Made excellent restaurant recommendations and he booked us a table a the very popular Prima Plora with excellent food, and view. During my stay, I was ableto enjoy the rooftop admiring the lights and ambiance of the old town. I highly reccomend this apartment if you’re in Rethymno, I am looking forward to my next stay.

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our entire stay! From the minute we got there, until we left Joanna was easily reachable and the property is fantastic. We hope to be back again!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Just wonderful and more! Irini could not have been a more welcoming, attentive, wonderful host. The villa is amazing, tucked away in Adele with lots of privacy. A car is definitely needed and parking could be tricky. There for our son’s wedding and we did have a few experiences not in the guide book - 6.2 earthquake and sandstorm from Sahara but Irini was there, sorting things out, bringing us pastries and gifts. A truly memorable and fantastic time. Highly recommend both the gorgeous villa (cats and kittens included!) and our host, lovely Irini. Thank you for having us!

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! We had a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing week in this beautiful house. Amazing location, stylish, spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped. It’s 3 minutes from the small town of Sellia (3 or 4 nice traditional restaurants & small but useful supermarket), 10 minutes from the bigger (seaside town) of Plakias (many restaurants, 2 big supermarkets, butcher & baker), yet out on its own: utterly quiet & private and with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea. Cordula - who created this fabulous place, from ground up & with incredible attention to detail, is a perfect host. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful: at all stages proactive, quick & very clear communication and always concerned about our convenience & comfort. Our flight time meant we didn’t arrive until 8pm & Cordula offered to order & collect food from one of the excellent local restaurants & keep it warm in the oven, so after a long & tiring journey our holiday started straightaway. We would love to return.

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

Lovely villa sitting in the hills outside of Rethymno City. All self contained and immaculately kept and maintained. Very responsive host who was most welcoming. Nikos and his daughter Katerina did a fantastic job responding to our needs and making us most welcome. Katerina has superb English so communication was never a problem. Would thoroughly recommend. It would also suggest you need a car to get about either down the hill to City and beaches or up the hill to mountain villages and exploring. Pool is great and outdoor space around the villa is superb. Reccomendations - we followed up on a few authentic tavernas from Katerina and they were superb. Would defo go and eat at Athivoles Taverna in Chromonastiri. Only a short drive away ie 7 km but basically the most authentic Cretan cuisine you will taste for sure. Hits were magnificent. All in all we had a great family holiday.

We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!

We were with family: 5 adults and 5 children (of all ages), the stay was great. We arrived and we were treated to a lot of nice touches (evening meal, breakfast for the next day, toiletries on the bed, etc.). The accommodation was very clean, there was everything for the stay: coffee, salt, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper... The host speaks only Greek so we passed for valia for the little hiccups and she is very responsive and makes sure we have a great stay. Just to point out that the host asks for a deposit of €500 in cash (in addition to the government tax) which was not specified, which he returned to us at the end of course. The accommodation is very well located for visits. I would highly recommend!!! Thank you for this unforgettable stay Oceane

Vicki was an excellent host, we were there for our honeymoon. She went as far as to get us flowers and champagne, which was a very nice thought, and she even helped me with car rentals and getting instructions how to get from the airport to her location. Overall, an excellent host in the place was very good. We were communicating over what’s app and it was very smooth and easy

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

The place was exactly what we expected. Quick access to our walks . Downtown is within walking distance. We had a pleasant stay. Excellent hosting. Looking forward to returning.

George was great, he let us check-in early when we asked if we could store our luggage somewhere and gave us lots of awesome recommendations. The apartment was nice and super close to the beach and the old town. The KTEL bus station is in easily walkable distance, around 15 minutes away.

The most wonderful stay in an incredible country.. We didn’t want to leave! Teta is lovely, generous, and respectful.. the perfect host. Beautiful home, perfectly located, surrounding area has so much to offer. Our neighbour left us oranges every day too! We miss it already.
