Welcome to a farm where time has stood still for a hundred years! Enjoy peace and quiet in the natural surroundings in the vicinity of Hardangervidda and the interesting UNESCO town of Rjukan, with exciting war and industrial history. Here you can live completely undisturbed and alone and enjoy lazy days, or exciting trips in the woods and on the plains. It takes about 40 minutes to the tourist town of Rjukan, where you can find a water park, the cross-country ski track, Vemork Industrial Workers' Museum, Gaustatoppen and the ski resort on Gausta. Old house/seter house from 1850 in scenic surroundings

Cosy firehouse/bakery from 1850. The cabin has been converted into an annex/small cabin with one room with a double bed. Dining area inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge and gas hob. Barbecue. Bathroom in the neighbouring building. The duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen must be ordered additionally for NOK 150 per person. It is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the surrounding area. In summer, you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist municipality offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Homey with everything you need for a pleasant visit to Rjukan. Walk 1 min to shops, pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants. Bakery a few meters away from the doorstep. Rjukanbadet 10 minutes walking distance. Leave the car in the free parking right outside the door. Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

Here you get immediate proximity to the countryside and the ski resort. Enjoy ski-in and ski-out to Fyrieggheisen and Hovdestaulløypa. Enjoy stunning views of Gaustatoppen and good sun conditions. Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels. Other basic items are in the cabin!

Gaustablikk skisenter ligger 50 km fra hytta. Hytta passer godt for familier og gjester som ønsker ro, natur, utsikt og gode opplevelser året rundt.
