Monthly Rentals in Athens

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

Great location! Everything is as described in the listing. Ideal for long term stays as well. The hosts were friendly and responsive. hope to return in the future.

This was our second visit, and we absolutely love this property. The view of the amazing St. Lawrence (a river that acts like an ocean) has many beautiful faces. On a rainy day, we took the short drive into Canada to explore the Thousand Islands Scenic Parkway. On a sunny day, we went to Wellesley Island State Park - walked the perimeter trail. We saw great flocks of swans and no people. Aside from those excursions, we relaxed here. We love the deck and the grassy private bank for sitting. We saw a few spectacular sunsets (one might think you’d be looking north across the river, but from this house, it’s a dead western vantage). The kitchen is great for cooking light meals and the bed is perfectly comfortable with lots of pillows. So many birds chorus the mornings and the occasional river freighter added curiosity. We HIGHLY recommend.

This Airbnb has the most complete house stuff I have ever seen in an Airbnb. The host provided a lot of extra supplies like paper towels, kitchen stuff, toilet stuff etc ! Nice place, beautiful house! Super spacious! The host is very responsive. We left something and they kept it so we could pick up!
