Cottage holiday rentals in Arkansas River

This is our favorite place to stay. Patti is so caring, has put so much love into the cottage, keeps you updated on the goings on for the dates you stay, and has everything you need inside. The space is beautiful, private, and relaxing. Make sure you say hi to all the birds, deer, chipmunks, and squirrels. It’s always quiet and serene at the cottage, but when you’re ready to enjoy some food and company, everything is just a beautiful 10-15 minute walk away.

We had the most amazing stay! We spent all day fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The property was perfect for my outdoorsy kids. The inside of the home was the cherry on top- comfy and clean! We would love to come back again.

WOW!! Are you kidding me? We have stayed at over 600 places on Airbnb over the course of 3 years. Key west homes, Vail, CO homes, Destin Fl, Vegas and several others with the best "vacation views" in the country. But who would of thought after all the luxury stays and beautiful beaches that we would find the mostpeaceful,beautiful,simple,relaxing,open,quiet,charming and welcoming property on the website. I was 100% caught off guard when check out game and we legitimately did not want to leave. We have a stunning home on lake Hamilton and most would be eagerly awaiting being home but we were not. The listing does not do this place justice! Kathy from start to finish was accommodating, polite and had the true attitude and demeanor of a host. Her only need or want was for us to relax and enjoy our stay. The property itself is gorgeous, pond had fish everywhere, hot tub was perfectly clean,had separate towels and BT speakers for outside, house stocked with everything you need or want! LOVE

This little house was great! Loved the private deck and just a few minutes from all the action. we did have one incident with the air conditioning and tv remote was missing and Joe responded immediately and fixed the AC, put in a window unit (just in case) and replaced the remote. We had a wonderful visit with our pups in the quaint little place!

Friendly hostess and things were as expected. The place is clean and stylish but only has a kitchenette (one burner and no oven) so be prepared for that. Nice private lake access and nice private hot tub! A little off the beaten path location-wise.

The home was so clean and comfortable but the owner was definitely the best part! Kind, helpful and friendly! We would love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hidden Elk! It was close to all the trails we planned to hike and a great place to relax when we returned ! We will definitely book this again for next years Hiking Adventure!

We loved this place so much we’ve now stayed twice and plan to return again when we have the opportunity. The cottage itself is cute, clean and has everything you need. Kenny and Dana and their family are the best hosts we’ve ever had. They make their guests feel comfortable and right at home. They are quick to respond to any needs that might come up or questions you might have about recommendations for the area. They are everything you could want in good hosts. We give our highest recommendation for staying with them.

Such a lovely gym near the Buffalo River! We stayed for a float trip with a group of eight and enjoyed the fire pit & spacious kitchen! Would love to stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! From relaxing and laughing in the back deck and around the fire pit to watching the sun come up on the front porch! It is peaceful and perfect for a weekend get away!! The smores and dog treats are such a sweet personal touch! Absolutely will be back!

This is a very relaxing, scenic And moderately secluded location. The wild life was lovely. Had the sky been cleared we would have enjoyed the telescope.

The cottage is lovely - inside and out! Outside you are tucked away under the trees among the rabbits. Inside the decor is beautiful - comfy and cozy. The host is fabulous. We felt welcomed and communication was excellent - clear and responsive. Hope to stay here again soon!

My husband and I recently spent our anniversary here, and it was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin is beautifully maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for. The serene surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. We loved spending our evenings by the fireplace, enjoying the tranquility and each other's company. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our stay was perfect in every way. They truly go above and beyond to make your experience special. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful retreat in nature, Powell's Cabin is the place to be. We can't wait for our next visit!

It was peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. I found it very comfortable, a real home away from home. The house was just a few miles off the main thoroughfares but close to the places I needed to frequent. Very impressed.

Oh my gosh let me just say this was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was not disappointed. This place had pretty much everything you might need for a couple days. The price was outstanding and truly saved us $ on hotel rooms for our friends and us. I was delighted at finding a fan to use as I am accustomed to at home. We road our motorcycles so we were limited to what we could take with us but found she had pretty much everything we could need. We will definitely be staying there again if she will have us! Thanks so very much for everything!
