Fantastic cabin in a countryside in peaceful surroundings. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Kids enjoyed the boat experience on the lake very much. BBQ outside and seating outside made us feel like at home and we trully enjoyed our stay. Can only recommend this place. ❤️

Beautiful cabin in the Swedish forests, near Arvika!Get a cabin atmosphere and proximity to the forest. Homey and everything you needed in the cabin. Approximately 15-20 minutes from Arvika Centre. Cosy and flexible landlord!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Just returned from a weekend stay at Barbro’s charming, 200 year old home. The house is exactly as described in the listing, and if anything, the pictures don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather, and Barbro recommended a lovely little beach on the lake to enjoy the sunshine, just 600 metres away. It’s rural,and therefore blissfully quiet, but we were only 35mins away from the town of Arvika, with its plentiful amenities. Barbro was great to communicate with, and met us at the house for a very simple check in at a time we requested. Greatly appreciated! If you’re looking for a peaceful break in the unspoiled Swedish countryside, this is your place!

Beautiful house, nice atmosphere. House is in a nice, very quiet place! Close to the water, right next to the woods. Had a nice time here with our dog and two small children.

Great home, best we ever been! The house is big, cozy and had everything and more. In the evening we saw moose and deer behind the house! Great visits to Bastnas car cemetery, Oslo, Glaskogen, loppis, hikes across the border, swimming in the lake nearby…. The host is very friendly and pro active! We surely will visit this house again in the future!

Anna and Tommy's house was the perfect place to sit in peace for a weekend alone and read and write. The house is close to the road (but sheltered) and is easy to find. There is a large green plot and possibility for nice hikes in the forest. Lovely with a lighthouse in the fireplace and cozy living room. If you live alone here, you must not be houseworn, because an old house makes a lot of noises, at least when it rains on the roof..! But this is a house full of charm, beds, books and dining area both inside and outside. Here you can bring the whole family for both play, hiking and relaxation, I will next time! Otherwise, it is a short drive into the pleasant Arvika city center, with cafes, flea markets and shopping. Happy to come back!

Super nice garden and a wonderful house. The pool is really big but could be a little warmer.

We had a great time at this cabin. It was secluded and the surroundings around the cabin were so beautiful. The forest on one side and the rapids on the other side. Madeleine responded quickly if you had any questions. Have nothing to complain about. We would love to come back!

We had a very nice week at Roland's place! The cabin is well equipped, nothing is missing and invites you to relax, not unimportant when the weather does not play along. When the weather is nice, there is a spacious terrace with great seating/lounging options. Everything is in a nice quiet location. We had our own kayaks with us and were able to use the boats and paddle endlessly after a few minutes' drive by car. Roland is very helpful and always responsive as he lives on the same property and is constantly working on his projects. We are happy to recommend the place.

We had a brilliant stay at Monic's place. She was very hospitable and pleasant. Her place we thought looked better in reality than on the photos! Huge charming, cozy and peaceful. Rarely you are in a place as quiet as here. amazing. At night it was cold and starry. We also heard the fox in the distance. Revespor we saw right on the down side on the ice. We even got a small private tour of the barn inside the hens. We got to cuddle and pet them and pick eggs. Very nice. Idyllic place! We'll be sure to come back here♡

We stayed in the house with 4 adults and 3 small children. The water was ideally far away for us. We enjoyed using the boats a lot. We were swimming and fishing and fed on fish and chanterelles😀 There is enough space for everyone and on rainy days is enough for children, e.g. Lego, to play, great!!

Sven and his father-in-law are extremely nice people. There is nothing negative to say about the accommodation and the location. for all those who love peace and nature, the perfect location.

Uwe was the perfect Host. Good communication and alot of patience towards us. The house is neat and very cozy. Also the area is perfect for fishing trips and overnight adventures in the woods. We really enjoyed our stay

Fantastic house to rent for the big family/friend group! The house is so nicely located with lovely nature all around and with the lake just below. We had a great weekend with the big family and just took it easy, bathed in the hot tub, played kubb, rested, ate and socialised. There was plenty of room for everyone! Can highly recommend this place! 🌟

A fantastic place that was far beyond expectations! Incredible environment, nice & helpful host. Nice & well-equipped outdoor kitchen with fireplace, pizza oven & gas stove. Cozy little bathhouse that you had your own access to with wood-fired sauna, hot tub & cold pool. There was also a small refrigerator. Comfortable beds & a large spacious tent. The orangery was very cozy & the garden was lovely to be able to stroll around in. Well equipped with many seats & tables in different places that were perfect for different occasions. This made it easy to sit outside & enjoy nature even though we had rain during our stay as there were places with roofs over. It was a little cold at night, this time of year. But the host contacted us before and advised us to bring plenty of clothes. We are incredibly pleased with all 4 who were there and are already talking about how & when we should plan the next visit! I highly recommend Remjeng Retreat. It's probably even better a little later in the summer when it's a little warmer. ☀️
