Our holiday home is located in Apen, in the district of Godensholt. Surrounded by forests, water, moors, windmills and nature reserves, you will find peace and quiet here to relax from everyday life. Due to a convenient location it is only 50km to Holland and the North Sea coast. The spa town of Bad Zwischenahn is only a stone's throw away with about 12km distance. The city of Oldenburg is also not far away. The natural landscape is ideal for hiking, cycling, fishing and relaxing.

The good location near Oldenburg and Bad Zwischenahn invites you to experience numerous excursions and adventures: discover, for the "Deutsche Fehnroute," take trips to the North Sea or the North Sea islands, or visit the Park der Gärten in Bad Zwischenahn.

In the beautiful Ammerland, right on the city border to Oldenburg, lies the Gerberhof. Two bright, modern apartments have been created here from an old pigsty. Get on your bike and start beautiful tours to Bad Zwischenahn, Rastede and Oldenburg from here. In 20 minutes, you can also reach the North Sea coast by car. We want you to relax, with good books, in a quiet but cozy environment, with only greenery and tranquility in front of the windows.

Gut Winkel, an oasis of well-being in Ammerland

The apartment was completed in May 2022 and is located on the 2nd floor at Gut Winkel, the oldest still existing farm (1746) in the municipality of Apen. It is very high quality and lovingly furnished and can accommodate 2 people on approx. 75 square meters. Garden use is of course allowed. We live here together with our dogs, cats and horses and are happy to welcome you to this idyllic place. The farm has a very special soul to discover.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax amidst beautiful fields and greenery, this is the place for you. The modern apartment consists of a large living/dining area, a bedroom with a double-bed and a large bathroom. A garden house with a sauna and bicycles may also be used for a small fee. The charming city of Oldenburg (15 km away) is a great place to go shopping and is also known for its diverse cultural events and night-life.

It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland! My place is close to Papenburg (Meyerwerft) and Leer with its beautiful historic old town. Since negative reviews are always left regarding the location. The property is located BETWEEN Papenburg and Leer. Both are about 12 km away. Shopping is ample in the village. Nearby is the amusement park at Emsdeich, where you can swim in the summer. My place is great for couples and business travelers. Private entrance.

At the lake, just lie down, sit, walk, swim, ride a pedal boat or fish during the season, etc... a lot is possible! We are located in a "two-wheel" friendly region! This quaint apartment invites you to relax and enjoy. In the middle of the countryside next to a cow meadow is the best place to relax. The area can be explored on foot or by bike. On cold days, you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.
