Really great apartment in the heart of Antwerp with a view from the balcony to watch the city hustle and bustle. Lots of room, confirmable beds and great shower. Nice secure parking as well with clear instructions. Thanks for hosting us, would come back again.

Very nice place! It is worth your money.

The flat was cute und simple. The bar next door just opened and we had a really great time there. It was so nice that i will probably come back some time. The house itself (and also the staircase) is very pretty and the owner is a very cool dude who does sculptures.

A very clean apartment with a good view, a large supermarket nearby (about a five-minute walk), easy to take a walk or take a bus to the city.

Bastin was a great host - he responded quickly and helpfully. We had some confusion with keys (we were handed the wrong set by the shop around the corner), but Bastin replied to my message immediately and we got it sorted. The apartment is very well located, was clean, stylish and had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Had a fantastic stay at Maarten's! Beautiful, well-kept, cozy room with bathroom, separate toilet, entrance hall and even private garden to sit outside. Everything is crisp and in order, with many details that make the stay very pleasant and cozy (towels, chocolates, coffee and tea, water, crockery/cutlery, microwave, nice smells and plants...). The location is excellent, close to Grote Markt, Zimmerplein and Begijnhof. You are also very close to the beautiful city wall, so you can easily cycle or walk in and out of the city. Most surprising for me was the peace and quiet: no traffic to be heard and the nights were dead silent. Maarten is very helpful without being intrusive. On the day of arrival, I could choose when I wanted to arrive, which is a huge luxury. The same applies to the day of departure. After 3 nights, I just felt sorry to go home. Highly recommended for those who want to visit Lier or cycle or walk in the region.

We stayed for 3 days with a group of 10 and it was absolutely perfect. It is probably one of the nicest places we have been to. The garden is spacious and great for sports activities and having a nice BBQ. The house is very pretty and you could see, that every detail was done with a lot of love. We also received lots of different suggestions for activities in the direct neighboorhood amd im Antwerp (which is an absolute must see). Without a doubt a 10/10 experience!!

Good location, very well equipped kitchen and excellent communication with the owner. There was a minor issue with a socket that was sorted out right away. The bathroom is gorgeous with a deep, comfy bath and a spacious shower. The beds are very comfortable too. Walking distance to independent shops with beautiful fresh produce, lovely bakeries and plenty of cosy cafés and eateries. Rupel Sushi especially recommended. We also loved the big Saturday morning market which is well worth a visit. Mechelen is a beautiful, safe city. The tourist information is excellent. Lots of guides, maps and gorgeous postcards. Friendly, multi-lingual staff. A word of caution: there are ebikes and e- scooters everywhere. They travel at considerable speed and we had a few close calls. Take particular care when crossing road and cycle paths.

Lovely presented house with great space inside and a fab garden. Things such as a high chair and changing mat being there was really useful with a toddler in tow. A few things to note - the property has lots of steps and is over three floors. When we stayed there was only one gate so one to watch little ones on! Also there is a bedroom in the cellar with a double bed, and the other double room and room with a cot on the first floor. This configuration wouldn’t work for all parties so is worth being aware of. Good location, nice house and great communications from the hosts at all times! Would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re visiting Antwerp.

Bart and Els are very friendly people who have received us very hospitably. We had a very nice stay.

In general, the apartment was great! Small things that still have room for improvement, but I can highly recommend the apartment as well as the hosts.

Vicky went above and beyond with helping us and making us feel welcomed. She gave us some helpful tips for TML and it is just as 25/30 minute walk. Would stay here again!
