Monthly Rentals in Antietam

So happy we chose to stay here for a short family getaway - this was an amazing stay for our kids (11, 8, and 2) and us adults - we all thoroughly enjoyed. Jordan sets the bar for a thoughtful, responsive host, and the home was well-planned, stocked, and comfortable. We really loved the wood-burning fire pit to make s’mores, and I was impressed that Jordan even took the time to provide marshmallow sticks to make the experience perfect; the hot tub was lovely. Beautiful place to see the clear, star-filled night sky. The bathrooms and bedrooms had more than enough extra towels and bedding (and charging stations!) for our family, and the bedrooms/beds were super comfortable and quiet - we all slept like babies after touring Antietam Battlefield and the winery down the hill. Lots of food options close by (Easter Sunday/Monday there were some unposted closures so make sure to call), we visited Harper’s Ferry nearby afterwards. Can’t say enough good things; kids are already asking to return!

Place was great . Spacious. Exactly what we wanted . The deck was wonderful for morning coffee as well as Adirondeck chairs near the Potomac. Kayaking was a bonus & having firewood for an outdoor fire was awesome. . Birds galore / hawks / titmouse / cardinals /wrens / geese & swans . Fishermen caught a big fish right in front of us while in Adirondeck chairs. Great place. Shepardstown was close & very quaint good stuff. Would come back if we get a chance

A friend & I stayed to cycle & hike Harper's Ferry & the Shepardstown area of the C&O. The placed checked all our important boxes..very clean, nice shower with hot water, very comfortable beds & furniture, very quiet, strong wifi. Download Google maps directions to get there as you might loose your cell connection. Same if you travel the area..download while on wifi at the house. When I saw the vintage GE electric stove with push button controls I though...wow will this thing work! Yes it works great! It heated up my hot water for tea & oatmeal faster than any modern stove! We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

What a magical little getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the actual highlight of the trip—Roo, the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. Playing with her instantly set the tone for a fun and cozy stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The place itself was super comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. The custom kitchen and heated bathroom floors were a lovely touch. I even got some work done (courtesy: their upgraded starlink internet) without any hiccups, and we spent our downtime watching shows and just enjoying the peace. It felt like a peaceful escape from everyday life. The walking trails were well-groomed, and we even got to interact with the adorable goats. Honestly, it was exactly what we needed to hit pause on real life and enjoy a slower, sweeter pace. All in all, it was an amazing farm staycation Highly recommend!
