Holiday rentals with beach access in Angoulins

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

We felt completely comfortable and fell a little in love with the Ile de Ré. The accommodation is very pretty and furnished with an eye for design and attention to detail. Kitchen has everything you need and you can make good use of the small garden. Bed very comfortable, everything super clean. Location is great, right on the beach and opposite a beach bar. Yes, the traffic is sometimes loud during the day, but the windows close well and that's just the price (in my opinion, acceptable) for the location directly on the water. The village centre of Rivedoux Page and supermarkets can be easily reached on foot. We rented bicycles (on Julie's tip), which is great, especially for longer stays. For example, St. Martin de Ré is quick to reach by bike and worth a trip. Julie always responded very quickly to questions.

We stayed one day in Solène's accommodation, access is simple and clearly explained. We were also able to store our bikes in the designated storage room. The communication and accessibility of our hosts was a plus.

Great stay in La Rochelle. Marine is a great host, responding quickly to messages. The accommodation is great and very convenient, close to the old port and everything is within walking distance. We were 2 adults and 1 baby and Marine provided us with a travel cot and even small toys. So many small touches that made this stay so enjoyable. I'd recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Very well located house close to the beach with very nice seaside walks to do. Very quiet and close to La Rochelle. very responsive host.

Well what a fantastic few days we had. I can’t stress what a fabulous house this is. It has everything we needed. Little garden and off road parking. It was spotless. Stéphane gave us a bottle of his home made apple juice. Absolutely delicious. Buses were very handy and very inexpensive. I can’t praise Stéphane or his house enough. A little gem of a find

Great location, great communication and lots of information provided. The apartment was fab, very spacious and nice decor, had everything we needed and more for our 3 night stay including a great terrace!

We had a great stay at Gérard and Véronique's, who are very friendly hosts and always smiling and energetic. The hosting was very warm . The cottage is very clean and very functional . Everything is well thought out. Quality linen. Very comfortable bedding. The terrace near the kitchen is also very nice, well equipped for outdoor meals and relaxing on sunny days. The calm of this place filled us. We sincerely thank Gérard and Véronique for their kind little touches: walnut wine and homemade jam, as well as some cakes from the region. Thank you also for the little demonstration of "tap dancing". We highly recommend this rental, which is very well located in a very beautiful region. We'll be happy to go back.

Very warm hosting and attentive to any requests. Impeccable house with a small gift when we arrived. Quiet house in a small private courtyard, right across the street from the seaside. I recommend it without so much as a second thought. Thanks to Claire and Olivier for this week.

spacious and very bright accommodation. nothing is missing. superb garden for children to play freely. table tennis and bike available. we will probably come back.

A very nice stay despite the bad weather. The living room is very nice for a tribe of 6 adults and 5 children. Special mention to the spacious and comfortable sofa and arcade terminal that allowed for wild parts. On the other hand, we all got along very well, we would have liked an unglazed door to close the master suite upstairs, to ensure a little privacy to shower or go to the toilet. 😊 But this is really the only very slight downside. The house is spacious and very well equipped and the beach is only a short walk away. Franck is very responsive and the check-in was smooth. In short, a very pleasant weekend.

Had a lovely stay at Géraldine’s. Comfortable and clean home with everything you could need. Location quiet but within short walking distance to supermarket and pretty square with a boulangerie and couple of restaurants as well as the tourist office. Having the bikes to use as and when was a huge bonus - we enjoyed our cycle to other villages. In the evening hearing the swifts swooping by whilst sitting in the courtyard was very relaxing. No hesitation to recommend.

Great location and a great host. Minutes away from the shops, clean and tidy on a quiet street. Would highly recommend.

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

We had a great stay at Teddy's place. The apartment was spacious, equipped and nicely decorated. Close to all amenities. Teddy is very friendly, and gave us recommendations on the activities available in La Rochelle and its surroundings! The jacuzzi and terrace are a real plus!! I recommend it 100%. We'll be back!

Very quiet for the studio. For those who love walking, I've been spoiled. Xavier is responsive and helped me a lot. Good restaurants.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.
