Monthly Rentals in Anahawan Island

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Rosemarie’s Villa. The villa is in a quiet neighborhood that is just a 10 minute drive from lively General Luna. It is pretty easy to catch a tuk-tuk/taxi back and forth from the villa to General Luna, so you can easily head to town for dinner. The pool area is cool and relaxing. The villa had all the toiletries we would need. The groundskeeper and housekeeper are also around to help with any extra towels or water you might need. The co-host, Lala, was there to greet us upon check-in and give us her contact information. We messaged her nearly everyday for recommendations, and she arranged transport and excursions for us that went seamlessly. We would love to return!

Not really sure any words I say will properly explain this slice of paradise. We stayed for 5 days with my 2 kids and their grandpa and we all wish it was 5 weeks. This isn’t a place if you’re looking to be pampered or for gourmet restaurants. It’s an Island experience from the accommodations to the food. Simple but unbelievably amazing. The catch is you fall in love with everything and everyone you encounter. Disconnected and somehow the most lively any one of us felt in our life. The food fantastic and on the cheap side, the rooms were simple but you’ll stay on the most wonderful beach that no Insta photo could do justice and the stories David tell could be a novel that’s still unwritten. I fear that when this spot gets discovered it will change but I hope it stays exactly as is. Beautiful children playing all day with a cold beer in my hand as my kids connect to a way of life no movie could ever capture. One thousand thankyous to David and his family. We will forever be changed❤️

Malinao sunrise would now be my go-to homestay when I go to iao, it’s really great, the surroundings, the host, the caretaker, the room and everything else. It was peaceful, even on rainy days. There was no problem getting to the accommodation even when it rained for days during our stay. Also when there’s no power, it wasn’t great until we realized that there was a mini battery inside the room that had stored power, tho no ac but there was a fan for backup and at that moment it was very useful and convenient for us especially on iao when power outage tend to happen. Everything was there, ac, fan, heater, fridge, utensils and plates, it really felt like home away from home. The host was also really great, thanks to sir sharner and ma’am noemi for welcoming us. Overall I would totally recommend this place, it doesn’t even matter if it’s far from general luna bcs we rented motorbikes. It was also near secret beach, which was great for chilling after a long day of activities. See u soon!

The landlord is very kind, hard to help the rental car and jellyfish day trip, the room is also very comfortable and cheap
