Monthly Rentals in Amaravathi River

I had a wonderful stay at Prabhu and Susanna’s Airbnb. The property is peaceful and private, just as described. All basic amenities were provided, everything was neat and clean, and the place was easy to find with clear instructions. It’s also conveniently close to the temple, which made it a perfect stay for me. Highly recommended!

Our trip for a tennis tournament in Karur started with a challenge: no hotels were available. This led us to a fantastic discovery—a beautiful farmhouse in Aravakurichi, just a pleasant 30-minute drive from town. This unexpected find became the highlight of our visit. The property offered a truly peaceful and comfortable stay, providing a much-needed serene escape for me and my family after long days at the tournament. The farmhouse was an absolute delight, especially for our child who loved the freedom of the farm, the ample space for walking, and the fun foosball table. One of our best experiences was cooking in the kitchen with locally procured vegetables. We were even able to use fresh drumsticks and leaves grown right on the farm, making for a memorable farm-to-table meal. We embraced the local culture by visiting the nearby Motaiandavar Murugan Koil, and the Amman and Pasupateeswarar temples. The local cuisine was simply awesome.

The location is easily reachable and served the purpose of our visit. The house was kept clean. The host communicated with me proactively and asked me to reach out to her if any additional assistance such as keeping a bottle of milk at the kitchen etc. We were received well. We could assess the house without any problem. While leaving (checkout) she was there to close all the formalities. As a whole she was an excellent host to us.

Dharapuram is a small town and we chose to break our journey from Mysord to Kodaikanal and stay here for a night. For a small town, Shanthagomathi's place is great value for money. A simple neat and clean accommodation with all basic necessities needed for a short stay. But the best part is the host. For a host who is new to Air Bnb, she's a superb host. An enthusiastic and energetic young lady, who's very responsive, proactive and never say no type. She readily accompanied and took us to 2 very old temples in the town. While not a 5 star facility, Shanthagomathi's place is more than one can ask for in this small town, every bit value for money. We wish her all the best.
