I cannot rate boho Beruwala highly enough. From excellent communication with the host waiting in the property for our arrival with fresh coconuts to the spotless and stunning property. All was amazing. The house is better than the photos and the service provided was beyond expectations. We enjoyed a fabulous (and super cheap) breakfast cooked onsite by the wonderful chef. He also cooked an amazing Sri Lankan curry for us one evening. The property is brand new, everything is well thought out and the indoor/outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off. If you’re looking for a place in beruwala don’t hesitate, just book. Thanks to everyone who looked after us.

The Airbnb is on the top floor of the Coventry International School. Convenient location. A little noisy because of where it’s at, but no problem for us. We were able to walk to nearby shops and grocery stores. Drivable to the beaches. Top bedding was unintentionally forgotten. Host was unresponsive. We slept with our beach towels. Maybe make sure you have bedding when you arrive with the host. Otherwise, no issues; would stay again.

Stay here if you: 1. Want a clean, well-equipped place to stay 2. Don't mind a few trains passing by during the day. It is not frequent and is a bit charming in its own small way. The trains are relatively small - 4-6 coaches 3. Want to have easy access to small shops, convenience stores, banks, bus stand. House is on the main road 4. Don't mind walking to the beach - barely 300m from the house Amila's place is clean, airy (large windows and big balcony), centrally located (by the main road) and spacious (good sized rooms, big hall and kitchen). The first floor portion where guests stay is recently built. All equipment were functional and clean. Kitchen was well-stocked in terms of cutlery / utensils. The host's mother is a lovely person and gifted us A LOT of home-grown bananas and some of her home made curry powder! It may be a small gesture to some guests, but shows her considerate nature. We had a good time here :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Lankari. The house is lovely surrounded by nature. I could see stars at night and hear sounds of birds in the morning and during daytime. I needed this kind of runaway from big city to the nature. The only thing I was bothered by are mosquitos. The owner was in touch and communication was easy and friendly. I would recommend the villa for those who needs escape to the nature.
