At the Foot of the Castle

Our cottage, located in the heart of the Dordogne Valley, has been designed to offer you a haven of peace and serenity at the foot of the medieval castle of Castelnau-Bretenoux. Our cottage for 4 people will offer you all the comfort to enjoy the wonders of the region: The medieval city of Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac, Collonges-la-Rouge, Martel, Loubressac, Autoire, or Carennac.... Natives of the country, we will be able to advise you on the places and activities not to be missed.

The Boulevard in Beaulieu

An ancient exterior, a modern interior. Our house was built on the ancient fortification wall of the Abbey. These 12th century walls are a feature throughout the house, and keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. All rooms have plenty of natural light, quality furniture, and all the homely comforts you need on your holiday. Only a 5 minute stroll to the river, 1 minute to bakeries and the village centre. The 11th century Abbey is behind our house, so only a short walk to go and explore.

Stunning views! Restored stone barn (c1827) + pool

Our character gite is a charming restored barn built in 1827, enjoying glorious elevated south-facing views over hillsides to a quaint village far below. The light-filled & spacious 90m2 gite has generous bedrooms, a large open plan living area and full kitchen. Stunning views from all rooms & the pool. Continental breakfast provisions included. A superb base for exploring and 'getting away from it all' in rural France, while remaining close to amazing sights and 5 mins from amenities.

Pleasant vacation home

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Guests can enjoy a pleasant and spacious terrace as well as a nice pool area!! 3×6×1.25 pool, secured with a bar cover. Your cars will be safe in the enclosed courtyard. Totally enclosed land. Nearby, possibility to swim in the Dordogne (1 km). Intermarché 2 km away. Restaurant and bars nearby, very touristy village! Tourist documentation on site and hiking itineraries. Sheets are provided but not towels.

Stone country house, very well located in the heart of Autoire offering a sublime view of the cliff and the English castle. Come and enjoy a moment of relaxation in the tree-lined garden. Close to the waterfall and the castle of the English, ideal for the curious looking for history and hiking. The house has parking for 2 cars and a fenced garden. Close to Padirac and Rocamadour. The nearest shops are 10 minutes' drive away.

Nature and quiet house

Charming renovated house near the center on the heights of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. Large spaces for relaxation and walks... when they are there, the horses will be nice to watch during your breakfasts and/or lunches on the terrace. Quiet and natural place with very nice view of the Dordogne valley... We did the work on this house to feel good as a family and find serenity as a family after work. You can enjoy the spaces.

Located on the ground floor of our family home, this independent studio is composed of a kitchen area, a living area with sofa bed for sleeping a child, a bedroom area with double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a private terrace and a parking space.
