Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Altenberg

We spent 12 beautiful days here in the apartment "kleine Bastei " The apartment is nice, cozy and well equipped with everything you need The location is great, absolutely quiet and via a footpath just behind the house, you are in 15 minutes in the beautiful old town of Pirna Shopping was also unproblematic, the Kaufland is easily accessible in 10 minutes on foot. We have been there for the third time and are thrilled with the great house and the surroundings. Dirk was always very helpful. We will be happy to come back.

The small cottage is surrounded by nature and is beautiful! From the hot tub, you can look directly into the forest and also relax wonderfully on the veranda. The accomodation was very clean and had everything you could need. You should only not underestimate the stairs to the bedroom, which was then very steep, but doable! We highly recommend it.

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation and its outdoor area overlooking the Königstein fortress. It was relaxing to have something in the garden for breakfast every morning or to grill in the evening and let the fire bowl burn alongside. So I can only recommend the accommodation due to the good location and the pleasant sense of well-being.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful place. The cottage is as described and in the photos, with a large garden, a nice lounge sofa, a beautiful bathroom and a cozy bedroom. The kitchenette contains everything you need. Please note that €30/35 in cleaning costs must be left in cash. However, that was not clear to us when booking.

We stayed for 2 days as a couple and felt at home in the lovingly equipped small apartment on the ground floor. Everything was clean and welcoming, the bathroom with large shower well equipped and there is also a private small terrace. The reception by Christin was also very friendly, when we said goodbye we could also get to know Silvio. The recommendation of the city of Freiberg was also very valuable to us, where there was a lot to discover for us. Our tip: Cathedral tour with 10 min organ foreplay at the famous Silbermannorgan and the coffee roastery Momo in Korngasse (pedestrian zone), where we enjoyed delicious coffee. We will be happy to come back!

The stay was very nice. The location is great. Near the Basteibrücke and from the accommodation, you can start hiking routes directly. The accommodation is easy to reach, even if you are traveling by public transport. Thanks to Sergejus' hospitality, we quickly felt comfortable. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night…Would have liked to have stayed longer. Gladly again. :)

We really enjoyed staying with Dirk. We (4 adults) just wanted a starting point for our hikes in Saxon Switzerland and found a fully equipped, clean, spacious and cozy apartment at Dirk's. The hosts are very friendly, greeted us personally as well as said goodbye and were always available. On a next visit to Saxon Switzerland, we would book a stay in this apartment again. Simply recommended!

Beautiful apartment, small, but nice. Everything you need. Silvia is very friendly, everything explained and shown. Responded quickly to my message. The apartment is also suitable for dog owners, I was there with a shepherd.

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. The location is optimal, 5 minutes to the train station in Krippen and yet totally idyllic. We especially liked the garden. Janine was very friendly and always available for a good tip. I would be happy to come back.

We had a nice time at Stefanie and Torsten's. Very nice, friendly and attentive people and always looking out for our well-being. Our visit had a touch of exclusivity. When else do you get breakfast with so many homemade treats? The crowning glory was the dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves with three courses. So delicious. And we say that as occasional visitors to Michelin-starred restaurants. Don't miss out on this opportunity. We were able to take trips to Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland by car. All in all a great recommendation.

The apartment is great and very lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing! Located directly on the forest, you can start hiking right away :) The hosts are very friendly and both the house and the surroundings were perfect. We felt very comfortable!

The stay was very nice in comfortable conditions, we were too short to visit, maybe let's go back to finish. The only thing I was missing were small neighborhood shops where you can buy fresh bread for breakfast all you have to go to big markets in Poland, there are a lot of them,but it's probably a matter of getting used to the locals.

We spent a week at the accommodation. The apartment is just amazing! even more beautiful than in the pictures. Everything is very clean, well maintained. There is nothing missing... Everything furnished with great attention to detail, with a lot of technical bells and whistles☺️ The projector in the living room is great for a movie night... the Internet radio in the kitchen and bathroom sweetens the morning... without annoying station searches. All in one. A great apartment that is very modern. The tram and S-Bahn are within walking distance in 5 minutes... 4-5 stops and you are in the old town, where all the sights are. In general, Dresden is great to explore by public transport. Shopping facilities are also within walking distance. For the price, the apartment was a real bargain. Clearly 100% recommended!

Susanne and Jürgen are nice hosts. We found their quite cozy, comfortable and clean. Amenities were as described. They helped quickly with our needs as well. A bit away from the city centre, but the bus and tram stations are within walking distance, so one can go to the city centre in half an hour maximum.

A really nice cottage with a great location. Perfect for a stay in Saxon Switzerland. We felt very comfortable and the garden also invites you to unwind! The fireplace was also used on a rainy and somewhat chilly day - an absolute plus. In May, I also found the outdoor shower worth experiencing ;) Would visit the hut again at any time!

Super nice accommodation to unwind! We had a nice time at 4 and were able to reach our hiking destinations in a few minutes by car. We will be happy to come back!

For me, it was basically suitable, only the street was a bit loud.

Beautiful peaceful retreat with great views over rolling hills, everything was super easy and hassle free, property had everything we could need and lots of attention to detail. We felt very at home and will definitely come again.

We had a really nice stay at this cozy place. Jiří was an excellent, friendly host, and everything we needed was provided - big thanks! The setting was private with a beautiful view, which made for a very relaxing experience. We felt right at home :) Though seemingly secluded, the location is super convenient - just a 5-minute walk to the train station and a 5-minute ride to a larger hub, making it easy to visit Prague and Bohemian Switzerland for day trips. We quickly got used to the shower and toilet outside and enjoyed the river view while showering. Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our time and definitely recommend staying here!
