House holiday rentals in Alpine

This home was as described and beautiful. The only complaint I have was because of my own oversight. We brought our dogs and kids and I didn't pay attention to the beautiful landscaping in the pictures...all cactus. Not a huge deal, just had to be a little more cognizant. There was a small ant problem because one of the kids left a drop of dinner next to the stove after cleanup. When I noticed in the morning, I cleaned up the food and kitchen towel and they never showed again. They do warn about goat head stickers in the yard. If you're bringing pets, make sure you pay attention, ours picked up a couple, but we knew ahead of time and it's not a real issue. There is a lot of room and the place is beautiful and welcoming.

I really enjoyed staying here. This was a great base camp in between events for Agave Marfa. I don’t think I’d change anything about it! The AC worked great. I mostly went out to eat but the full size kitchen would have been perfectly sufficient. The beds were comfortable. The cowboy pool is a nice break in the TX sun. The ideal group would be 3-4 people but 5 is possible.

Beautiful home with beautiful views!

This place is AMAZING! Just outside of Alpine and the stargazing is superb. Will is a fantastic host and was very flexible and responsive. They graciously allow dogs which was a huge bonus for us, PLUS a fenced in backyard! The property is beautiful and we had plenty of privacy. The home itself was perfectly clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed! I plan on staying here again in the future, thank you so much Will!!

Great place to stay in Marfa! Close to everything and walkable. The place was beautiful and decorated great- very comfortable space! Only thing to note is the WiFi is extremely spotty, which the hosts mentions, but if you are looking for good WiFi this might not be the place for you. That being said, its great to disconnect for a bit!

we were a big crew from airbnb (55 of us in the area) and had the most magical experience. blown away by the art, food, shops, sips and overall energy of the town. this particular property was ideal for the way the space was laid out and the proximity to town! the pool was key! Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough positive things about Susanna’s listing. It was so clean, so comfy, and it made us feel instantly at home and at ease after a long, blistering hot drive to Marfa! Not only is it close to excellent restaurants, but it’s also convenient for walking to other shops convenient to the main strip. It’s a small thing, but I also appreciated how the home was filled with real things, as opposed to odd nicknacks/recycled items I’ve noticed in other airbnbs. Staying here made our first trip to Marfa positively memorable!

Perfect Airbnb vacation experience. Beautiful and spacious (guessing approx 2200 sq feet) home in the heart of downtown Alpine, TX. Great for walking around town, or as a base for daytrips to surrounding Ft Davis, Marfa, and Balmorhea. Linda was a wonderful host and responsive when we reached out to her. Fantastic guest manual with everything you'd ever need to know about the house. Our family has been coming to West Texas for many years and stayed in many Airbnbs--this is now our favorite and we plan to come back again soon. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you, Linda!

This is the fifth time we've stayed here....it has truly become a home away from home. Annette is the best host ever...so responsive and helpful. The place has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. We can't wait for trip #6, which we have already booked. That should tell you everything you need to know!

Mary's place has really beautiful views with a great wrap-around balcony. Rocky terrain around the house. The house was very clean, clutter free and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. Charming house and location, we enjoyed our short stay and felt safe.

Great place for a family to connect and enjoy all that Marfa and surrounding areas have to offer. Simone was great too!

This was the perfect place for our group to stay for our daughter's college graduation. Chris was amazing throughout the entire trip. The check-in and check-out of the cottage are the best Airbnb check-ins/check-outs we've had. He is quick to respond to messages and super helpful. He wants every guest to feel at home and have the best experience--and we did. He was wonderful to work with. The house is two stories- one bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, and it was a great way for everyone to spread out. It was the perfect weekend with family and friends. We look forward to staying at one of his properties in the future!

This was the perfect stay. The location can't be beat. There was a sound machine provided in the bedrooms to keep your nights sleep peaceful and uninterrupted. The shower was perfect and the bathtub was lovely for soaking in. Cooking in this kitchen was a dream. The west Texas vibes were just right. Enjoy a cup of French press coffee on the porch in the mornings. Three roadrunners joined us in the yard for morning coffee on our last day so may you will get lucky too. No need to look any further for your spot to hang your hat in Marfa. This is it.

The highlights of our trip were McDonald observatory star party, the burger at Alcove, sourdough chocolate chip cookie at the bread garden bakery, and of course Robert’s beautifully decorated and appointed Airbnb! Close to everything, very quiet, nice yard, and full of beautiful decorations. A real gem

This house was perfect for our stay in Marfa. The house was so comfortable and cozy and we loved making use of the kitchen and back yard. The location was super convenient and walkable to great shops and restaurants. Kaci was also incredibly kind and responsive and provided us with great recommendations. We hope to be back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jim’s house. Perfect location for walking around Marfa and being close to fun stores, art and food! The back garden is a little piece of heaven… morning coffee or evening wine with the fireplace- it was frost and private and lovely. Will def go back!

This place is amazing, price is undefeated. Hosts were very accommodating and we had a wonderful time, really clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again, mainly if it is a big group traveling:)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Cosmic Roadhouse was great. It was really clean, open, well equipped and the decorations were simple and tasteful. We loved the backyard space and spent our evenings out there. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable as well. It was a close drive to downtown and the Chinati Foundation. We really enjoyed our time at the house and in Marfa.

Another great stay in Marfa! Earth House was cozy and comfy, close to everything and had a great record collection. 😉 The team at Trans Pecos Realty was top notch, proactive and super friendly. They responded to any issue or request promptly and kindly. It’s so refreshing to be treated like a neighbor when visiting another city. It really makes all the difference.

10/10! Loved staying here. Super cute, lots of natural light and a comfortable bed. Loved the kitchen and the multiple balconies, too. Christina was very responsive. The only thing is that if you care about being in a really icy cold low temp space this may not be for you as the AC didn’t fully cool the whole place (in May) but it didn’t affect our trip. It gets cold enough at night where the smaller ac units + open window were enough. If you go in early Spring or Fall it’s probably perfect with only windows cracked.

Had everything I needed, it was very clean. It is pretty close to everything in town. Bed is super comfortable and the ac got nice and cold. Will stay again next time.
