Historic Kendal is known as the "Gateway to The Lakes" as Bowness & Windermere are an 8 mile drive away. Kendal Town Centre is a 20 min walk for the shops/Brewery Arts Centre/Bus & Kendal Rail Station. TRAVELLING: For guests travelling by rail - Oxenholme Rail Station is a 7 min taxi drive. J36 & J37 on the M6 are approx 10 min drive.

Recently and stylishly renovated, this property used to be the communal wash house for the quiet tranquil village of Bolton Low Houses. It's location provides a relaxing getaway while being centrally based for exploring the Lake District, the Solway Coast, the border city of Carlisle, Hadrians wall and the Scottish border. Recently refurbished it is situated between the North Penines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is convenient for the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Pennine Way and Coast 2 Coast route, there are plenty of places to walk and explore.

Immaculate studio space for 2 people (no children) who need time out of their busy lives to shut off and re-charge. It comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen/bedroom with an en suite shower room, with sliding doors onto a verandah which overlooks the beautiful running water and the woodland, where if you're lucky you might spot a deer or two. We live nearby if you do need us for anything.
