“I had the lodge planned for an overnight stay for my boyfriends birthday back in April but due to COVID this was deferred, Naomi was great throughout and very accommodating with new dates. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Mark who promptly shown us to the lodge. The lodge was as expected, stunning in a picturesque setting overlooking the lake, beautifully decorated inside with some really nice homely touches - the scones, fresh eggs and bread were a lovely touch too. The whole lodge was comfortable and warm, the bathroom was modern with a very good powerful shower. Overall the stay and the grounds were fantastic and we could have easily stayed longer submerged in the peaceful woodlands, great hosts, definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon xx”
We are located in the countryside but within easy reach of Cheltenham, Stratford-on-Avon, the Cotswolds, the Malverns and Worcester. We are a working farm at the foot of Bredon Hill, just over one mile from the local village which has a great pub. There are many great walks and cycle routes around and we also have a large pond which is great for fishing in or relaxing by. The Woodshed is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with children).
“We had a wonderful stay at Mel’s place. It was a great location to explore the Cotswolds and couldn’t have been more comfortable in the Woolshed. It is decorated and finished beautiful, the beds are super comfy and the shower was powerful. It was spotlessly clean and Mel was super responsive. Our 4 year old especially enjoyed feeding the goats. We enjoyed the delicious lemon cake and freshly laid eggs! No issue re Covid-19. Would love to stay again and highly recommend to others.”
Weston sub Edge is a small village close to the start of the Cotswold Way, 20 minutes from the home of Shakespeare at Stratford Upon Avon, two miles from Chipping Campden and its Music and Literature Festivals, Broadway, Longborough Opera, Daylesford, National Trust properties such as Hidcote and Snowshill Manor. We are the ideal location for walking and exploring, so do bring your dog. Transport is essential as we are very rural and taxis and buses aren't always available.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Quart - Sarah and Simeon go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and feel fully equipped to make the most of the amenities and the local area too! Our hosts were really friendly and happy to offer advice before and during our trip, which was very gratefully received as we’d not visited the area before - but we will certainly be back! We really appreciated the luxury of the Quart and it’s location, thank you for a great mini holiday!”
