Nice homely place! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the neighbours feeder. Cathedral state park is worth a visit,the big old hemlocks are beautiful.

Loved staying at Michelle and Tony’s cabin! A great rural getaway with all the amenities of and modern conveniences one could hope for. Spectacular views, quiet/private location. Great yard in which to roam and play. The cabin itself is super-clean, comfy bedding and linens. Plenty of A/C (or windows if you choose). Fast wifi, plentiful hot water (and clean - no sulfur odor is always a plus!), multiple smart tvs if you want. Well-stocked, modern kitchen including filtered ice/water dispenser in fridge - no need to haul jugs from the store. 2-in-1 coffee maker incl coffee and all the fixins. Personal touches abound. Fun stuff outside, incl yard games. These are very thoughtful hosts who are friendly and responsive, they provide a great guidebook which includes lots of recommendations for area eateries. (Definitely recommend a visit to Screech Owl.) Would totally recommend this stay!

My mom and I wanted a little weekend away & Chef’s apartment was just what we needed! The space is clean & cozy. The king-sized bed is very comfortable. There were gorgeous plants everywhere, fresh fruit on the table, freshly picked flowers on the counter, cool books throughout the apartment, & even a corner with comfy pillows, a mediation chair, & drums! Chef kindly helped us get our bags up to the apartment. We met his lovely dog, Pacha, who is so sweet. We woke up each day & enjoyed an amazing breakfast made of fresh fruit & veggies & enjoyed the conversations we had with Chef while he cooked. How many times in life do you get to wake up and have someone cook you a farm-to-table meal? And he made it 100% vegan for us—amazing! We took his recommendations and checked out Oakland, MD. It was a cute little town and we particularly enjoyed the antique shop, Englanders. Swallow Falls State Park is worth checking out, too. This was a really unique, beautiful stay. Thanks, Chef!

We were in town for a few days for a huge geocaching event. Just down the road is the West Virginia Botanic Garden it was beautiful and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The Airbnb was absolutely perfect it was so relaxing. Lots of wildlife to see too! I think I saw the same deer a couple of different times. Everything was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we really enjoyed it. If we’re ever in the area we’d stay here again.
