Holiday rentals with beach access in Akumal

The condo is located in an amazing location to walk 15 minutes to Akumal Beach or 2 minutes to dinner at La Vida Buena. Both are great, parking & check in was easy, & it was peaceful & safely gaurded 24/7

Host was extremely friendly, responsive, everything was explained well, instructions were clear and easy to understand. There were lots of small details that made the stay easy and relaxing and it felt like home away from home. Definitely recommend this location!

Increible lugar, en la baia de akumal pude nadar con mi pequeña hija con tortugas desde bebes, medianas y hasta enormes, la vista muy bonita, dia o tarde, y de noche el cielo estrellado, lo disfrutamos mucho, solo hay que llegar con todo lo necesario o llevar carro para comprar ya que no hay tiendas cercanas. Muy recomendable para una familia tranquila.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us, quiet, roomy, with access to both pool and beach. We loved the pool by the beach!! The building complex is great, although the walk to the unit is somewhat long especially when carrying luggage or groceries! We had a car so getting to restaurants and grocery options was easy. Tulum is not far, appx a 20 min drive where there are lots of restaurants and 2 large grocery stores. I would not recommend staying here without a car. Shana and her co-hosts are great, very responsive and friendly, as are the security folks at the entrance. We recommend this location without hesitation and would definitely return if ever back to Akumal.

Great apartment, lovely building. One elevator was broken which was a bummer and the place was a bit dusty. Overall quite clean, super responsive host, amazing location and beautiful views from the roof. Would stay again.

The place is wonderful and our host was great as well. Location is perfect, it is a beachfront property so you always wake up to the sound of the waves and the birds. The place is a walk distance of restaurants and cafes so it made our life so much easier.

The apartment was very clean and modern, everything was exactly as described and pictured. Great neighborhood, quiet but super close to 5th Ave and close to the beach as well. Kaitlin was by far one of the best hosts I've ever dealt with, she responded to all of our questions no matter what time it was and was always very helpful.

Jesus places was very clean, comfortable and well located inside Bahia principe condominium. Recommend stay at his place whenever you are around Tulum. He was a great host and was responsive every time we needed him. Easy check in and check out and great deal for the price. Thanks Jesus!

This was our third stay at Casa Dulce and it will NOT be our last. Great location in Playacar Fase 1 with a private pool to cool off in after walking around 5th Avenue (about 10 minute walk) or spending the day at the beach which is less than 2 blocks from the home. Alizee sent an email before our arrival with restaurant suggestions as well as suggestions of things to do. The AC was a definite plus. We would turn it on before bed and the room was nice and cool for sleeping. Highly recommend this Airbnb location in Playa del Carmen

La casa es mejor que en las fotos aún! es super agradable y me encanta que es super tranquila la zona. Eso si, el club de playa es muy pequeño, y el acceso a la playa dentro del club es Mini! no nos quedamos a disfrutar de la playa ahí mismo porque no era nada cómodo. la casa vale totalmente la pena y el moverte al centro o playas cercano es supee rápido

Carolina’s place was the perfect combination of having everything we wanted in a place to stay and being close to downtown Cozumel when we wanted see the sights. There was more than enough space for the two of us, from the spacious master bedroom with an amazing view, to the fully stocked kitchen and sitting area. We were outside more than in, either soaking up the sun, relaxing in the pool, or taking the ladder down fight into the ocean. We had planned to take snorkel tours during our visit, but the underwater life right in front of Casa Rojas was varied and spectacular. We had rented a car to take in all the island’s sights, but we were also able to comfortably walk into Centro Cozumel from the house. Carolina was communicative from the day we booked and throughout our stay. Needless to say, Carolina and Casa Rojas made our first visit to Cozumel everything we could have hoped for!

We had a magical week at Adolfo’s place with our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is spectacular and the kids loved being able to play on the beach and jump in the pool. Early risers will love the sunrise view from the beach. The location itself is an amazing jumping off point to enjoy Akumal (great taco spots in town!), Tulum, and local cenotes and eco parks. We were a bit anxious about not having AC in the main living area but the breeze was beautiful and it allowed us to really embrace indoor/outdoor living. The caretaking staff are wonderful and very helpful - they helped us arrange for massages at the house and kept the property meticulously clean. We also took advantage of Chef Carlos’s services and are so happy we did. The house itself is very comfortable. Showing its age in places but we appreciated it being un-fussy - especially with young kids. The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes but you’ll need to bring your own basic cooking supplies.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! From start to finish, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations. Hector and his team went above and beyond to make us feel truly special and taken care of — their hospitality was unmatched. The country club was a highlight of our stay — stunning surroundings, delicious food, and the kindest, most professional staff we’ve encountered. It felt like a home away from home, but with the luxury of a five-star resort. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I had a bachelorette trip here and I got so many compliments and thank you’s from all the guests for booking this airbnb. It was truly beautiful! We loved how we could walk to the beach, cafes, and restaurants and we felt incredibly safe due to the area being gated. The pool and lounge chairs were used all day. Seriously a great place. Peaceful and beautiful. Having Dominga (the house cleaner) was awesome. We also used the airport transportation company and private chef company that the airbnb recommended - both were amazing!

The place is really great and worth the price! Be aware, you should rent motorbike or VUS. The place is really far from the city, and the taxi are expansives.

This was like staying in our own private resort. The beach area was the most versatile and enjoyable of any home we e stayed in. Tons of different seating configurations, and additional snorkeling and kayaking gear. . And of course, laying in the hammocks on the extended dock was heavenly. The inside of the home worked very well for us. Nice seating in the living room and kitchen with amazing views of the water. Beds were comfortable, toilets and showers did their jobs. Plus roof top pool was a great treat. Finally the staff Marcos and his wife, were very kind and helpful if we needed something. And Marcel was excellent with communication. Aside from the very bumpy road leasing to the home (around 5 minutes of grief, but not unusual in areas like this) this was a perfect, relaxing base for seeing the Tulum area. (Note, it is much better to have your own car as the home is around 20/30 minutes drive to downtown Tulum.

We had a great time, the place was awesome. Aside from the seaweed that is uncontrollable it was amazing snorkeling out in the bay. We are actually looking to invest in a place similar to this and this gave us a very good appreciation for the location. Definitely on the top of our list..

This was a vacation 16 years in the making and we wanted it to be special. Three generations of our family would be traveling together and we need the accommodations to be better than good. We needed them to be remarkable. You read the descriptions and see the photos when deciding on a place to stay, and sometimes they are accurate enough. Jaclyn's photos and description of the property did not do it justice. The condo, the property, and the staff were so far beyond our expectations, I can't even begin to say enough. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere in our years of traveling that I would make the comment that the gardens and the view alone were enough to warrant a 5-star review. All said, the condo was light, spacious, and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and displayed the talents of the local people. Everything you could need is provided. We'll never forget our stay at Jaclyn's little slice of paradise on the Riviera Maya. Hopefully we'll return again soon!

Chris’s apartment was exactly as described – very clean, well-kept, and beautifully furnished. Communication was excellent; whenever we had a question, we received a quick response. The shared pool was cleaned daily and was almost always quiet and nearly empty. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back

This home is a little slice of heaven. Just enough off the beaten path to be able to fully unwind. Home is so comfortable with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings, kind genuine people, nature. You can get a golf cart and so many activities and restaurants are minutes away. The restraint “la lunita” is right next to the pool in front of the condo. The food and drinks are tops. We have stayed here twice now. I hope to come many more times. My family agrees it’s has been one of the best vacations we have ever been on both times. 10 of 10 highly recommended.

Was soll ich sagen? Alles perfekt! Alles war wie im Text und auf den Bildern versprochen wurde. Dazu die sichere und schöne Umgebung von Puerto Aventuras. Überall freundliche Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern, leckeres Essen in vielen Restaurants, wir haben es geliebt. Als Gastgeber war Andres perfekt, alle unsere Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. So haben wir unseren entspannten Urlaub in Mexiko genossen! Wir kommen wieder.

We ended up here on a whim as our original Airbnb we had turned out to be a bust. Cherri saved us by letting us book 30 min before we arrived and walking into her place felt like a dream. The views are breathtaking and the place was spotless. The kitchen had everything you could think of and felt just like home. Check in for us was late in the day but the process was simple and keys were right where they were supposed to be. The breakfast place across the street was phenomenal and we went twice in three days. There’s only A/C in the bedroom but great cross ventilation in the rest of the living space. Easy walk to Akumal beach or the lagoon. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bahia. The host was helpful before we booked and afterwards with any questions as well as instructions. The staff at the condo was also attentive, including fixing a broken freezer very quickly. The beach access was superb despite the sargassum this time of year. We'd recommend getting a car or stopping in a bigger town with a full grocery store before heading to the Airbnb. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend La Bahia to anyone looking to visit Akumal!

The unit was very clean when we checked in - and was cleaned every day. It has all that we needed in the kitchen. Mostly, tho, was the location: just a few seconds walk to the Bay (between which was a small pool, great if you bring along kids). The sun rose straight out the ceiling to floor glass windows at the end of the unit. There are two bedrooms, each with what appeared to be king sized beds, and each with it's own bathroom. I highly recommend this unit
