And how about shopping in 't Loo, the weekly market, shopping center 't Hoekstuk or the station center, everything is possible. The bon vivants can indulge in one of the delicious restaurants, and on a summer evening, you can walk to Di Fiorentina for an artisanal ice cream.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
