Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ærøskøbing

We had four really lovely days at the summerhouse over the winter holidays. It's a super cozy house! Not too big, but still with nice space to be there with family. Admittedly, we were only two adults, but intend to return with our adult children and their boyfriends. We used the wilderness bath a few times, and it was very special to sit in the hot water while the wind was rushing around us and the moon lit up the sky ✨ The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house, and there is really very nice nature in the area. We enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice and we lacked nothing. Fiona was quick to respond to any questions and was accommodating. The path to the beach ( a beautiful lagoon), the children felt a little long at 10-15 minutes and would have liked to have a scooter or bike with them. But were only there for 2 nights, otherwise we would probably have borrowed bicycles for the beautiful area.

We loved it to come back to Sydals and spend a great week at Jespers lovely cottage. 🇩🇰🏝️

We felt very comfortable and the house was very cozy and your great accommodation on 4 stormy and rainy days. The house and the kitchen are really equipped with everything! For 10 people it is perfect, the road to the house is not paved, so who has a car with four-wheel drive should arrive quietly with it. :) Thank you for the great time!

We had a great stay at the house. Great views from the terrace. Good and easy access to the water. Good beds and bedrooms. Lots of service in the kitchen. Sparing toilet paper and hand soap, so be sure to bring that. Would definitely like to stay at the house again.

We had a wonderfully relaxed stay at Christina's hyggebo. It is very cozy and the cottage has everything you need. We were able to stay in the warm hot tub or sauna in cold weather and enjoyed staying with our children very much. Christina is a great and warm host who attaches great importance to detail. We were in the mood for a visit in summer to discover the island even more.

Great accommodation with a large garden and a lot of space (also for several people). Schlei and Baltic Sea nearby. Tip: Take bikes on vacation! Definitely one of the most beautiful areas of Schleswig-Holstein.

5 star – Absolute recommendation! The stay was just perfect! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need – from the cozy bed to the fully equipped kitchen. The location was quiet but still central, ideal for excursions and exploring. Our host was incredibly friendly, helpful and always available if we had any questions. You immediately felt welcome – like at home, just better. I'd come back anytime and really highly recommend the stay!

We've been here before and can only recommend it. We had family with us, and my aunt was shocked that you could just go in and feel at home. It should not be cleaned first, as she said she usually does when renting through rental agencies. And we can only give my aunt right. The place isn't missing anything, and Thurø is just a lovely and pretty place ❤️❤️❤️

We had a lovely holiday on Thurø. There was nothing missing in Thomas and the family's house. A really nice garden with delicious crops that we enjoyed. Nice and clean!

We (a couple around 60 with dog) felt very comfortable in the Melkerhaus! Appealing interior, very good amenities and in the sunny, fully fenced garden (great for dog owners!), thanks to a few birch trees, there is also natural shade! In the house, in writing, there is all the information about everything you need to know in the area, from the excursion tip to infrastructure addresses, restaurant suggestions. The location is perfect, also as a base for exploring in all directions! It was also interesting for us to live in the area of five windmills. These are at a sufficient distance and were rarely acoustically perceptible during our two week stay, which did not disturb us! We were able to relax very well here, met courteous and cheerful people in the country and thank our very friendly hostess Felicitas again! Evi and Sebastian with dog Max

Cozy and clean little house . Everything was as promised. We were 5 people on a mini vacation ! But the house could easily accommodate that. It was a short walking distance to a nice beach . Als offers many experiences for both adults and children. So the place is definitely recommended .

The apartment is located in the right wing of the 3-sided courtyard. The very large living room/kitchen space is on the first floor, bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor. From the living room you can access a large terrace and the huge garden, where we liked to play badminton. The kitchen is well equipped, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Everything was very clean! The house is located on a quiet street, and we were able to relax in the wonderful tranquility. Dorte and Knut were very nice hosts and we immediately got along well with them. We would love to stop by again if it works out!

You get exactly what you promised. Electricity bill in the end but significantly higher than expected - I don't know if this has to be the case.

We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great shopping nearby, beach within walking distance. We were on site with 18 people and there were plenty of opportunities to engage in the house. The only drawback: very thin walls, you understand every word in the next room.

Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Only the 4 sleeping options under the roof are not necessarily recommended for tall people. There are various leisure activities in and around the property. The beach is within walking distance through the cottage settlement (about 15-20 minutes walk). An Edeka is also right around the corner. We had a very very very nice stay! :)
