Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aberystwyth

What an amazing place! This is something special. It is a beautiful thought out structure with spectacular furnishings and such a well designed space. Underfloor heating! That is a first for me and my partner and I loved it. The hosts kept the rustic look alive in how they designed it and even had a thatched roof!. Outside the cottage is a world of summer flowers, carefully attended by the older lady who lived in the adjoining cottage. Of course the hot tub and sauna were a great addition. I loved that they did not spare expense with the furnishings from the well designed dish drip tray to the fancy fan in the bedroom. We wish we could have spent more time here as after a few days travelling we spent one of our days lounging in the hot tub with a glass of champagne whilst listening to the constant bird chorus and watching the horses saunter around in adjoining fields. Really is a magical space. We loved it. Thanks Paul

Ty Canol is very comfortable and well appointed. It's an old stone cottage with a small mature garden. five minutes walk from the sea. We felt at home straight away.

We are just back from 5 days here and have had a great time. The barn is so spacious and has a mini pool and football table which my boys loved. The kitchen is full of everything you need and all the beds and comfortable with lovely linen. It is so peaceful there surrounded by trees and fields. It was about half an hour of Aberyswith and New Quay where we saw dolphins ok a boat trip. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The cottage is very well installed, with plenty of space for ourbfamily of four adults. The kitchen is excellent, as well as the conservatory/lounge. The hot tub is hands down the top amenity: pristine clean and warm! Highly recommended!

Excellent stay, in a beautifully clean and well presented farmhouse. The red kites circling the farm were an unexpected addition to the trip! Would highly recommend a stay here.

This was me and my partners first time with Airbnb and our first weekend away. I've been going to Tywyn since I was a boy (over twenty five years! geez I feel old). We loved the apartment and the style of decor! The house and apartment was beautiful! The man who looked after the premises was absolutely sound as a pound as we say in the black country and was super helpful as was Kate! The dogs were absolutely adorable too! As we're both animal lovers, We loved the place and we'll definitely be back! Thank you again!!!

A really well put together home in an excellent location with lots of activities around. The stay was very pleasant and enjoyable with little to no noise and my kids loved it so much they wanted to stay longer. I will definitely come back if in Wales in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Sian’s place <3 absolutely beautiful garden and surrounding outdoor areas! Sian was super responsive and helpful when we needed and there were some really sweet personal touches throughout the accommodation. Really lovely secondary field with a swing and a pond in! We would love to come back sometime <3

Louise is an ideal host, friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The flat is ideal and just as described, cosy and extremely clean. The location is private and quiet but in easy reach of Cardigan and Poppet sands. Overall a splendid stay, even if it was only for a weekend hopefully the next stay will be longer. Thanks Louise.

Fantastic large space for us, very clean and very central to where we wanted to be. Communication was clear and friendly.

Great base for exploring Aber! The sofa bed was really easy to make up & super comfy. The bedroom was really quiet being at the back of the property. Loved sitting in the lounge at night watching the lights change colour on the pier. James was really quick at responding to any questions- and he let us check out late which was really helpful with two little ones . The switch for the towel rail was on the right hand side in the hot water cupboard - which was really helpful to dry all our towels. It was very homely & we would definitely stay again when back in Aber. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing!! I can not recommend this place enough. Our second time staying here and we all absolutely love it, it’s just what we are after with our dog and our 1 year old, it’s totally off grid and so peaceful

We loved our stay and found it a great place to rest and relax. it was great that we could walk to some wonderful restaurants and easy to drive to gorgeous coast lines. perfect for what we were looking for. accommodation was quirky and stylish. full of everything you need.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful period property and cannot fault it. The directions and instructions for access were clear and comprehensive. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped with the most amazing views from both the lounge and bedroom windows. We loved sitting in the beautiful cottage garden and the sun streaming into the kitchen as we ate our evening meal. The location was perfect for walking into town, to the harbour and Borth y Gest. We have stayed in many airbnbs in the UK and France and this is our favourite. We cannot wait to return.

Katy's place was perfect for our needs. It has a homely feel, had parking nearby and two local mini markets within easy walking distance. The bedrooms and lounge are all of a good size and the kitchen and bathroom were more than adequate for our needs. I would recommend this for a few days to a full week or two as a fabulous base to explore the local area.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was lovely, very private and had everything we needed. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our booking and there was plenty of space for us. The hot tub was lovely with great views. The hosts were very welcoming upon arrival and were great at communicating before and during our visit. We will definitely look at staying here again in the future.
