Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Zürich

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa's location was fantastic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The accommodations provided the perfect balance of comfort and luxury, with a private swimming pool and a balcony offering stunning views, which became our favorite spots during the stay. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Excellent hosts! This was the perfect home to set up as "HQ" for our family during vacation. We easily commuted to Zurich, Lucerne, and many more places within 25 mins. Extremely peaceful and safe. No noise.

It was an extremely positive experience staying at Christina's cottage! Christina was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our flight landed late at night, and she made checking in flexible for us, which was convenient. Instructions were clear, and she showed us around the cottage, making us feel at home. She answered all our questions and even went out of her way to drive us from/to the train station when she was able to do so! She is such a kind host and made our stay in her cottage a favorable part of our trip. The amenities in the cottage matched what was listed online. The local area was very peaceful and quiet and had beautiful surroundings. The cottage was within walking distance of Lake Zurich and the train station, which made getting around easy. If I return to this area of Switzerland, I will stay with Christina again. I highly recommend Christina's cottage for travelers visiting this area of Switzerland for a peaceful place to stay while visiting the country!

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

I often visit Zurich, Switzerland for business trips. This time, I stayed at Sylvia’s Airbnb for 5 days and 4 nights for the first time. To sum it up, my team and I found Sylvia’s place to be perfect. If we visit Zurich again in the near future, we will definitely consider staying at her place first. The house is located in a quiet residential area, so we could enjoy the peaceful garden and lots of green nature. Every room—including the living room, kitchen, and office—was very clean and well-organized. All the furniture was well-prepared and nothing was missing. The whole house feels like a modern gallery or art museum. During my 4-day stay, I used a rental car, so I didn’t use public transportation from Sylvia’s place. But for me, it was very clear that the house had good parking space, and it was easy and convenient to park there.

This is Nicole's home, and it is a very warm and welcoming place. She made room for us to put our belongings. We hope it will be available the next time we need to go to Uster.

Hands down one of the best hosts on the Airbnb! We booked very last minute but despite that, Murilo and his team were amazing in accomodating us and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. I know who to contact for a legendary experience next time I am in Zurich. Thank you!!!

Perfect place for a stay in Dübendorf

for the price the size clean linen,clean bathroom was completely worth it. .. a note worthy mention abt the host who I feel is wasting his time running just a single apartment... his self critical nature is always on the lookout out how to make up for all that his vision sees as a shortfall in his place... he offered me a late checkout and was also kind to accommodate keeping the luggage hours before the checkin time... as for the place fairly large neat bathroom neat linen sheets and towels well equipped kitchen is all a plus considering the place was located in the basement was an apprehension initially but the extra large windows and the fact the place is located on a hill hardly made a difference no doubt it needs a bit of de cluttering which I believe he is well aware of... having said that his attention to the night lights outside the large windows and the garden and the nitty gritties on the wall shows his attention to details Simo should run a hotel...a perfect host

We had a lovely two days in the functional apartment. It's nice and big, the beds and bedding great. It was neatly cleaned. We will be happy to come back.

Joys Apartment is like time traveling, it’s originally 70/80ies but extremely well kept - everything is working perfectly despite being obviously heavily used over the years. It was also extremely clean, never seen auch a clean Airbnb before. There is a bar in the basement but 100% quit. What is not so quit are the neighbors that kept running through the staircase all night. But this can be different for every stay since this is a boarding house. The only downside I can think of is the sometimes slow and somehow random communication with Joy. It was not always easy to get a helpful answer right away. Nevertheless Joy was very nice and let us stay a bit longer on our departure day which helped us a lot. Thank you Joy! Until next time!

Ray's has an amazing special hostel and it's truly great to stay here! I stayed for only one night, but when I came in, I was instantly greeted and given a tour of the house which is very luxurious! It was great meeting the other people staying there and the view in the morning is truly amazing! I will definitely come back next time I stay in Switzerland!

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

The cottage was beautiful! Ideal for the skiers who want to ski directly from home. House was very clean! Esther was very helpful and you can definitely count on her!

We were warmly welcomed! Place was very neat and clean. We received a lot of travel tips. It was still a little too fresh for the natural pool (for our taste) but it looked great! Certainly very refreshing in the height of summer! In heavy weather, Simon even drove us to the city and my girlfriend and I were able to stay dry in the bars! Really very friendly and accommodating! Not a given! On the whole, this accommodation has uncomplicated hosts, a super friendly family, which also offers its guests enough privacy and a magnificent kitchen (used daily). Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

Kids loved this place for the swimming pool and the hot water tub. The ground floor bedroom was big enough to accommodate all of them together. Basic essentials were all available in kitchen. We had a very good time at this villa. Thank You.

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them.
