Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Zona Hotelera Norte

We only stayed 2 nights (our other Airbnb, where we stayed 4 weeks, was not available for the last 2 nights of our trip). But we were impressed that Orlando's apartment is beautifully furnished, large, and spotlessly clean. There is a huge outdoor patio with nice furniture, and a view of the mountains (not facing ocean). The rooftop pool and area around the pool is also beautiful. The whole building is kept very clean; clearly this is one of the most upscale buildings in the area. I would certainly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay in the Versalles area. Versailles is a long walk from the beach, but it is a very quiet, peaceful area, with some of the best restaurants of Puerto Vallarta.

Very clean comfortable

Had a wonderful stay, easy to find, easy check in, great location. There is a nice balcony with partial ocean view. The middle balcony separates the kitchen area and bedroom. The string lights are nice feature at night on the patio. The bedroom has a nice large sized tv. The bed is so comfy and great to get a long sleep in and good quality sheets and towels. Matt was easy to get a hold of for anything and I would stay here again for sure. A plus as well as Matt ensures there is a large jug of filtered water available!

Miguel's place is nicely located in a quiet part of Alta Vista. The surrounding greenery adds to the charm of its location. The property is comfortable and well equipped with lots of space. The jewel is the private pool and lounging area which is perfect for relaxing on a hot afternoon. Although the last block up to the house is a steep climb/drive, it's close to numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities. Miguel was very helpful and responded to any questions we had and also worked quickly to resolve an issue with the AC. Highly recommended for travellers who appreciate the vibe of the old town and Zona Romantica.

My stay at Israel’s apartment in Centro, Puerto Vallarta, was absolutely fantastic! Perfectly located in the heart of Centro, this cozy spot is just steps from the Malecón, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, and a vibrant mix of restaurants, cafés, and local markets. It’s the ideal base for diving into the city’s culture and charm while having a comfortable place to recharge. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for a great stay—a comfy bed, a functional kitchen, and a nice little balcony for morning coffee. Israel was an outstanding host—super responsive. Check-in was a breeze, and he went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. The Centro location is unbeatable. I walked to beaches, galleries, and nightlife in minutes, yet the apartment was quiet enough for restful sleep. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends, this place is perfect for experiencing the heart of Puerto Vallarta. I can’t wait to return!

I loved 402 Madero. I have stayed in this building before and prefer it. The rooftop pool and lounge area are wonderful and super chill. Location is great and the unit's position in the building is great as well. Had everything I needed for a pleasant stay: coffee maker, well-enough stocked kitchen, super comfy bed. The bedroom is in the interior of the unit so it is insulated to street noise. The building itself is super beautiful. Please note the strict no guests policy, which I learned about before on my previous stay, but helpful to know for anyone else reading this. It keeps the building super chill, which I appreciate. Would happily stay here again if I were able.

We had a great stay at Ismaels place. The house was very nice—clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The pool was definitely a highlight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Everything was as described, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at David and Claus's place! The home was beautiful, with plenty of common areas to spread out, well-stocked with amenities, comfortable bedrooms, and well-located near lots of delicious restaurants. The hosts were very quick to respond to any question or inquiry and let us store our luggage after checkout. One thing to note for people hoping to work remotely: The internet is very fast and can support multiple video calls, but it works best close to the router. Thank you for hosting us!

Margaret’s home was absolutely amazing! It was our first time visiting Puerto Vallarta as a family, and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local shops. Carmen and her husband Fidel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They helped us book incredible activities and were always eager to assist with anything we needed. Carmen’s cooking was a highlight—every meal was delicious and made with so much care. The pool was a hit with the kids—they practically lived in it! We spent so much quality time together as a family by the pool, which made our trip even more special. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

Very beautiful, comfortable, clean space with all amenities. The owners are seen to be good people: good quality of products, shampoo, soaps, toilet paper, a very full kit, ice in the freezer, etc. That is no longer seen in many Airbnbs. The whole family enjoyed and were very comfortable. The sunsets are unparalleled from any level of the property. the pool area very nice, the functional kitchen, the very comfortable rooms and the very efficient attention. The decor of the house is very well thought out, very nice inside and out. Definitely recommended is property. Consider arriving by car bien surtida del super and drinks because the climb to get there is very included, it is worth it for the views but there are not many shops nearby. Don't hesitate, book if it's available, it's upscale!

Incredible! In person it looks much more luxurious compared to the photos. Communication with Alejandro was perfect and responded to us very quickly. One feels very safe because of the security cameras and the atmosphere in general. It's been the best Airbnb experience I've had for the last decade. I am very grateful and hope to return one day. nice accommodation, it has everything you need to have a good stay, below there is a grocery store where everyone is very friendly, it is a little far from the places of interest , although getting used to it is faster to get to, the neighborhood is quiet, not much noise, for the price it was good, it seems super cheap compared to the facilities since everything seems new.

the place is quite spacious and central. I have already stayed in the same area and it is a very quiet area, only in front there are several wineries and they start working very early, so the noise of trucks starts early but they also leave early. There is parking outside the place without problems and many shops in the surroundings.

The main reason that we stayed here was because of the 3 beautiful and spacious pools and beach access. We were mindful that the living space was small, but it was made up with amenities. Juan Pablo was very accommodating and was attentive to respond to any of our questions. We will definitely be returning for future Nuevo Vallarta trips. The security of the condominium was very assuring and would definitely recommend for families.

Ralph and Mark were very easy to work with. They provided all the necessary info up front to help take the guesswork out of coming there. The condo was perfect the size, perfect location, with a beautiful view. Alfredo was very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely request this bnb again!

Beautiful condo and fabulous pool. Close walk to so many wonderful attractions, places to eat, and fun bars. Charlotte was very responsive and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat. 💗
