On the grounds, the Feldstein walls of an old stable have been preserved as a picturesque ruin. 2 swimming lakes are within walking distance. Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. The newly renovated vacation home is located in the center of Grünz village, surrounded by the beautiful Randowtal. The cozy kitchen-living room offers a fireplace and a sofa bed. The bedroom with adjoining terrace invites you to have breakfast and linger. The large lawn in front of the vacation home is ideal for children and/or dogs to play and romp. In our beautiful region you can hike for hours, ride a bike and enjoy nature. The nearby lake invites you to swim, fish or go boating.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

You can book the sauna for a fee and round off your stay.

In our garden, a lot is different: the bedrooms are like squirrel dens, the bath is under the starry sky and the shower in the middle of the greenhouse. Maybe there are vegetables and fruits in abundance - everything is organic here. Ask if that appeals to you, we'll sell you something. Because of the great views over the fields, the chirping and the location on the outskirts, we chose our little piece of land. Come and see!

The small farm

A hideaway in the countryside! A small but nice construction trailer on the small farm, in the middle of the Uckermark. The trailer is located on a farm in a village location on a 1.3-hectare property. Lake Ucker is about 500 m away as the crow flies (road longer!) Prenzlau is just under 2 km away. In the main house, there is a small guest kitchen and a private shower room. Perfect to escape the stress of the city!

“Less is more” – This is one of the golden rules for good design, which guided us in the restoration of our farm in the Uckermark. The Birkenhof includes several acres of land with meadows, fruit and vegetable gardens and our small birch grove, which gave the farm its name. The farmhouse is ideal for families or small groups. The farmhouse can also be rented together with the stable building and laundry.
