In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

È una tipica casa di montagna, situata nel villaggio Le Cret a 1770 m di quota, la cui costruzione risale al XVI secolo e veniva utilizzata come granaio per lo conservazione dei cereali. Si tratta di una porzione di fabbricato che fa parte di un complesso completamente ristrutturato e, come per le altre unità abitative, la ristrutturazione è avvenuta mantenendo il più possibile lo stile e i materiali originali, compatibilmente con le necessità abitative moderne.

Relax in a cabin at 2,000 meters

If you love large spaces and nature, our cabin is for you with the simplicity of a spartan environment but with all amenities: shower, hot water, good connection (no wifi) and car within walking distance (only yours!). The woods of larch trees are beautiful. In July and September the hamlet is a transhumance stop so there may be farmers with the cows in the house next door. The dirt road is accessible by normal cars but not too low (ask us if you ask us).

Chalet La Balma

Chalet la Balma is located at the foot of Monte Rosa. It was built in 1964 in Isella, a small town of Macugnaga, a Walser village. It consists of a masonry load-bearing structure and a wooden crash dating back to 1773 from Val Quarazza which is located just 20 minutes from the house. This is an exclusive, independent cabin, with private garden, barbecue area, playground , autonomous heating to compensate for CO2 and pellet fireplace ducted in each room.

"La chiocciolina" Wood and stone cabin

"La Chiocciolina" is a nice and comfortable cabin for 2+1 people, carefully renovated and consists of: bedroom with en-suite bathroom, living room with open kitchen and loft with sofa bed and mountain view. The entire structure, of which the cabin is a portion, dates back to the early 1800s and housed the miners who worked in the nearby gold mines. Our home, nature and typical places will leave you beautiful memories of your vacation in Valle Antrona.
