We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Your holiday starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area, right next to the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours straight away. The apartment has one bedroom, guest rooms for two additional guests, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can barbecue and enjoy the sun on the large southeast terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, like hiking or cycling, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to stock up for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is about 10 minutes by car. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets available. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or take a sauna in bad weather.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. Hello , My name is Gräweheinersch and I am a vacation rental. I am at home in the land of the angry giants, in the Hickengrund in the wooded Siegerland, the region between Rubens and Landluft. More precisely in Burbach-Holzhausen. I am about 80 m² and have a large living/sleeping room, a modern kitchen, a spacious shower room and a large balcony. "Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
