Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Zahara-El Gastor Reservoir

We had a very happy four day stay in September, with five of our family from Australia, Spain and UK. The property is in a quiet area with a lovely garden and large swimming pool. It is only a five minute walk from the local Aldi supermarket and the bus stop to Estepona. Various restaurants are within easy walking distance. Although we did not have a car, there was space to park outside the house. The house was really well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our only challenge was the narrow metal spiral staircase leading up to the second floor bedroom and bathroom, which required a certain agility! We would definitely stay there again.

A lovely townhouse in a good location. Giuseppe and Alex were great hosts and contacted us both before and along the way if there was anything they could help with and the few times we needed help, there was a quick response. We were happy that we had a car available, as there are only a few eateries within walking distance from the house and the city center is 2.5 km away. But the house is a great starting point to experience what the area has to offer.

What about this stay at Gary's? We had an excellent vacation in his very warm home. Everything is done to make it feel like you're at home. The small plus of this airbnb is undoubtedly the swimming pool which is so pleasant especially with the current heat in Arriate. The terrace is also very cute for an aperitif with a magnificent view of this village of white houses. In addition, Arriate is a very cute village full of good restaurants (Escobar, Malacaña, Asador Chevalier...). We have never eaten in Spain as well as in Andalusia. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to meet Gary who wasn't there, but he was able to answer any of our questions we had. In addition, we would like to sincerely thank her friend Manalo who was very helpful with her recommendations. He came to clean the pool and agreed to help us. Finally Gary was kind enough to let us go later

We had a wonderful stay in Pilar´s house. Nice garden and the kids used the pool even though it was very cold. Vikings :) . Beds where comfy and nice to have duvet (not just thin linen) and showers were good. Quiet neigborhood. Had a good time, good location for us. Very good communication to owner and all was good.

A lovely, small house with amazing views over to Gibraltar and beyond. It felt like being in the real Spain.

The view of the Nuevo Bridge was so beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped, so it was good for simple food. I didn't use it, but they also prepared a washing machine, dishwasher, and detergent, so I think it would have been very convenient to do laundry during my trip! Thanks to the friendly host, I made good memories in Ronda.

A great 3 weeks of sunshine . Apartment excellent comfy & cosy . Heating efficient when needed in the evening. Would definitely stay again. To note : would recommend a car to explore area.

The apartment is great, clean and clean. The location is perfect. A quiet place and easily accessible. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby and a few kilometers from Marbella by car or public transport. I have already repeated in this same apartment and will most likely do it again.

This apartment is well equipped, especially with a dedicated dryer. This is very useful during winter time. It has central AC which is very efficient. The water pressure for shower is also very good. If you are coming with a car, it comes with a dedicated free underground parking as well. It is right beside a golf course and surrounding is very beautiful with a lot of nice villas. With 5-10min drive, you can find a lot of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this apartment.

had a great stay. we especially loved the spacious rooftop and plunge pool. the location is amazing, very quiet and peaceful but with puerto banus being very close by. would definitely recommend staying here!

The host has been really helpful and has waited for us despite a delay we had with our flight. He has been open on the check out timing and the flat was super clean and ideally located. If I could put 6 stars I would do it as he has really care about us

Andreas was an amazing host, easy to communicate with, and always responded very quickly to messages. We also got clear instructions as well as recommendations on places to visit, restaurants, tips, etc. The apartment was nice and tidy, good plan. Two balconies/terraces were valuable depending on whether you want sun or shade when eating. An extra plus for the terrace by the living room which has sun all evening and is great to sit on until the sun is setting.

We had a wonderful stay at Erik’s apartment. Everything was perfectly prepared for us when we arrived — including beach towels and loungers, cooking ingredients, plenty of dishes and pots, shampoo, enough hangers, and even an iron for our clothes. Erik was in constant communication with us throughout our stay and always made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend his place for a couple. The views are absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent.

Miravel, La Cala, is a special place. We were met by the lovely Jani who was so helpful in showing us around. Communication from both Paul the owner and Paul the property manager was first class. We relaxed instantly. The pictures depict exactly what you get and the beds, sofas, etc are of excellent quality and very comfortable. The apartment is very well appointed with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It is also well positioned for the local restaurants. This is definitely a home from home and well cared for. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the driving range hearing the gentle click of club v ball was so relaxing. We all felt like Peter Allis commentating on individual swing styles! Surprisingly there are several kestrels nesting nearby and the air displays only added to the general feeling of peace and relaxation.
