We had a pleasant time. In the winter, it was very dry in the room, so it would have been nice to have a humidifier!

A house you can experience authentic Japanese life

The owner was kind enough to talk about the facilities in the house, a big house, it was well equipped and clean, and the amenities were thoughtful. I would stay again if I would come back to this place.

The nearest beach resort from Takamatsu

It was a very wonderful 3 night and 4 day trip. It was my first time in a remote island location, but the climate was very accessible, quiet, peaceful, and I loved it. The family of three visited us, but we used the space too large for the three of us luxuriously, heard the sound of the sea, and relaxed while being healed. Basically, we had a BBQ or made a simple lunch in the kitchen. I was also planning to eat out, but it is temporarily closed or booked and inquiries are required in advance. There are days when I bought cup noodles and haggendats at the only JA store on the island, and enjoyed it. The people on the island were also very kind and at home! Thank you very much, Rika. I'm going to Megijima again!

Lemon field and Seto Inland Sea: Fully private accommodation on the Shimanami Kaido

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I arranged to stay here with a group of close friends as we were cycling the Shimanami Kaido, and were all blown away by this stunningly beautiful and incredibly well equipped home. Everyone wished we'd had more time to spend here relaxing. The fridge came full of drinks and suggestions of mixes which we enjoyed. Having frozen local lemons to use as ice was enhanced everything. We'd arranged for the BBQ dinner, which was a delicious feast we devoured after a day of cycling. We were also left an extra gift of excellent oranges and orange daifuku. Sitting in the yard in the morning, looking at the clear blue inland sea made it hard to leave. I really want to come back here to see the whole island in lemon season. This is really a magical home and location. ありがとうございます

It was quiet and beautiful, as well as the surrounding environment in the house. It was great to be able to have a BBQ and a bonfire in the garden. We received a quick response to our request to rent equipment as soon as possible, and the explanation was very polite and easy to understand. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

A fully renovated inn with a living room overlooking the countryside, featuring a private bath with cypress wood, and welcoming small children

Rating, 5 stars2 days ago
Both adults and children had a comfortable stay for the whole family. The landmark seals and instructions were all organized, so I was able to use it without any hesitation. The view from the living room after waking up is something you can't find in Tokyo. It was a space where you can feel the wilderness of Kochi Prefecture with your body.

All of the best! Definitely recommend to group or family stay. The public place is awesome. It’s close to snow park and Arima Onsen, AND THEY SERVE TRANSPORTATION! We met bad weather this winter and the cable and bus was stopped, no taxi response, barely can’t get down the mountain. Thanks for the staff. We are planning another stay this summer now~

"Cottage with a starry sky" 5 minutes on foot from Sakijima/Mukota Port, bonfire, covered BBQ, pets allowed, 6 people

HarukoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I went with my family of four.It was the most satisfying I have ever stayed. The children were delighted the moment they entered, and they had a good time in the hammock. The garden is also wide and open, and it was a very good time to play catch and talk with nature. The host responded quickly and politely, and I was able to communicate with great peace of mind.I think there were guests the day before, but there was no water drop in the kitchen or bathroom, and it was well cleaned and I had a pleasant stay. My son Tanuki appeared in the adjacent field, and it felt like I was used to people.I was able to enjoy Sakijima's island time, and I was able to relax and communicate with my family away from the daily routine. Really recommended! I'd love to stay again.
