We have carefully renovated a 40-year-old traditional house, preserving the original beams and windows, and created a space where you can relax with family and friends. Outside the window, there is a traditional Japanese landscape of rice fields and mountains. You can enjoy the scenery that changes with the seasons from the living room and sunroom. The accommodation can accommodate up to 6 people. We also provide baby chairs, baby baths, baby futons, toys, and more to ensure that families with small children can also enjoy a comfortable stay. There is also an open kitchen with a dishwasher, a garden deck where you can have a BBQ, and a cypress bath. It is about 40 minutes by car from Kochi Airport, with easy access from Kochi Station, and is a convenient location as a base for travelling around Shikoku. Located in the Niyodo River basin, it is also within an hour's drive of popular spots on the Niyodo River, known as the "Miracle Clear Stream". It also has good access to Matsuyama and Takamatsu, and is chosen by many guests as a place to stay when travelling around Shikoku. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. Forget your time and enjoy the extraordinary. *We are currently not allowing pets to stay. If you'd like some, please contact us before booking. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, there are many stairs, so it may be inconvenient. The road in front of the accommodation is not paved. Please note that this may be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature around the inn, so there are definitely insects.Sometimes insects come in together when opening and closing windows and doors.(Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you are not good with insects.
