“David and Steph are not just super hosts they are really nice people. They are kind and friendly and made me feel very welcome from the outset. Dave even introduced me to the local ale at his nearby pub. The accommodation is quiet, clean and comfortable, and the location is ideal for easy access to beautiful countryside and outdoor activities. I would definitely recommend them and will visit again myself.”

“Our stay at Willow Annexe was delightful. At arrival we were greeted by the two very friendly cats. The studio is very cosy with a wonderful view to the forest. We were impressed by the gifts left for us and the attention to detail that Lesley has put into it. The place is equipped with everything you need (kettle, microwave and a little stove with a pan, if you need to prepare something). Even though we have not met Lesley, she responded quickly to our messages and allowed us a late check-out, which is very good on a lazy Sunday morning. We recommend visiting Wye Valley and all of its surroundings. It is a perfect place for a romantic get-away in the countryside. Highly recommended.”
The Zion Chapel (Grade 2 Listed building) is situated in the beautiful Royal Forest of Dean. There is immediate access into the Forest. We welcome people from all different Nationalities, sexual orientation and disabilities.
“We had a very relaxing and special couple of nights stay at The Zion Chapel. The photos can’t do justice to the space itself which is cozy, spacious and very well equipped. Our arrival and access was easy and trouble free, even though it was late evening and dark at the time. Indeed It may have been the perfect time to arrive at Zion Chapel as Vicky has already fired up the wood burner, turned on the pretty lights inside and left us a welcome gift of homemade cake and a bottle of Prosecco. It certainly helped us feel at home almost immediately. There was provisions in the fridge for a cooked breakfast, plenty of cereal, bread, milk as well as tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very peaceful night sleep. The rain shower was also lovely and hot. On the second day we left a chilli in the Aga to slow cook and set out to explore The Forest of Dean. We would highly recommend Zion Chapel to all our friends and family.”
