Pet-friendly holiday rentals in York

Suzi and Luci’s Place was absolutely beautiful. For a home that often takes pets, it was top tier clean. They were more than accommodating on check-in time since we were traveling from east end of Long Island, it was about a 4 1/2 hour drive. Beds were extremely comfortable and clean, they had the AC and some lights on for us when we got there as well which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay very short. Paid for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. Suzi and Luci were very understanding when we messaged late at night that we had to leave due to family emergency. The view of the falls was gorgeous. Be prepared for some noise from the road at night as it backs up straight to it, but the hostesses offer ear plugs which was super nice! The shower is a bit small so beware if you are a larger person. Overall a great stay, great communication, super clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and fully enjoy the home! The house was perfect for our family’s needs while we were in the area for my son’s wedding. The house was clean. The property and home were lovely. There was plenty of room our whole family plus the groomsmen visited for breakfast. Everyone who entered shared “I could live here!”

The house is cute and well appointed. The basement game room is wonderful (it’s why we booked this house). Nice washer and dryer, basically has everything you need! Karl answers messages promptly and/or calls to help or answer questions. The patio is a wonderful spot to enjoy the morning. My ONLY complaint is the surprise we got upon arrival to see a large auction house on the property. Auctions are every other Monday. We were gone the day of the auction, so we did not see how much traffic there was for the auction itself. There was a bit of light traffic to and from the auction house the week we were there for pickups. The auto shop next door wasn’t bad, either, as far as noise goes. I think it might be more typical up north for residential and commercial to be mixed like that-we were just not used to that. At the end of the day, it was fine. I just think full disclosure is best. I WOULD rent this house again.

Home was very comfortable and clean! I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and by far this was the cleanest home I have ever stayed in. It was delightful. Location was quiet, in a very nice neighborhood on the golf course. Would definitely recommend this home, especially if you are traveling with a pet.

The Cozy House on James is a gem in downtown Lancaster. Kristin is also a responsive and accommodating host. The home is well appointed and as described. There are great restaurants that are within walking distance and we didn’t have any issues with parking on James Street. We’ll be looking to stay here on our next trip to Lancaster.

With the activities we had planned-visiting my son and granddaughter's high school graduation, we didn't spend much time at the house... mostly early morning and late evening/night. It was very quiet, and private... unlike most hotels. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We would have needed 2 hotel rooms... the cost of the entire home was less than 1 hotel room!!! I was able to sit outside one afternoon (LOTS of rain!) and enjoyed the birds, etc. Enjoyed our stay and we have already talked about staying here again when we make our next trip to Maryland.

Paula's communication was excellent, The location was very easy to find and could even accommodate our small cargo trailer. The inside was impeccable with plenty of amenities. Every room was very comfortable and well lit. We will definitely be staying there again next year. Thank you Paula

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

Kyle went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful when we arrived we got there early and we messaged Kiley if we could enter early because we and 2 children with us that needed to use the bathroom he responded right away and let us in. Kyle also helped us big time when we left , we accidentally threw out a very expensive medication Kyle went back to the house and retrieved it from the garbage and mailed it to our house. We have used many AirB&B’s over the years but no host has been as attentive and quick to respond as Kyle.I would highly recommend this property.

Very peaceful. Nice views. Plenty to see and do here. The pool was refreshing and private. Tim and Sharon work hard and it shows! Beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed our stay. If you enjoy a camp fire Tim’s spruced up fire pit was very relaxing..

We celebrated our bachelor/bachelorette here and we loved every second of it! It was the perfect place to spend our weekend at with so many amenities. We loved the hot tub, pool, the basketball court and the big open space to do our planned activities. We will definitely be coming back here!

We absolutely loved the house, and all the history that came with it. Beautiful treasures throughout the house that we much enjoyed looking at. Lighting was fabulous. Beds were comfortable and only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay! Short drive to Hershey and neighboring towns with lots to do! A+++

Our family had a wonderful time at Red Run. We loved our cabin and the views everything matched the pictures. It felt like home with small children amenities included the pool, fishing, weekend activities, etc. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire. The staff were friendly and so helpful. An awesome host. Will be back soon!

Excellent stay at this house. The house is a large multi floor cabin. It is off the main road and completely surrounded by woods with no other visible homes and minimal road noise. Bedrooms were large. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels and bath items (shampoo etc) giving it a nice hotel feel. Entrance is a simple code on the front door smartlock. We had some challenges with a bathroom, lightbulb, and sauna and Mariou was excellent and responsive. We had a group of six but the home can easily accommodate many more. Place feels rustic, but modern enough. The super high ceilings in the main common room give it a grand feel. Would recommend staying here.

What a wonderful place! I was in the area to attend a dog show and Crystal's place was perfect. Wonderful quiet area, the unit was clean and well equipped and Crystal was responsive and easy to communicate with. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place for a weekend getaway! Very quiet and private with nice and new amenities. Only thing is that it got a little cold at the house (we stayed there early June) outside of the bedroom but other than that this was great!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Boundry Bungalow with our 2 dogs and our 10 month-old child. The house was spotless and more than enough space for us all. You can tell the hosts go out of there way to make it feel like a home with the decor and furniture selections. There is a spacious, fenced-in back yard that was great for our dogs to run around in, and it is tucked away off the road enough that you're not bothered by passing traffic. The place is conveniently located within 5-7 minutes of the highway and was the ideal spot for us to stay as we were in town to visit family. Will definitely be a top choice for us in the future when we are in town! 10/10

Christine is a great host. She clearly takes pride in her home and the experience her guests have while staying there. I really appreciated that! I wish all Air B & B hosts did so well.

An incredibly well maintained home from the 1700’s in an idyllic country location yet still close enough to town for DoorDash / instacart. Best of both worlds. The catch and release pond and stream were highlights for our kids that will have us staying again anytime we visit family in the area. Window AC units work great and Keurig coffee and shower supplies are greatly appreciated. S’mores supplies for fire pit a lovely added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back

Our family spent a few days in the area and felt that we truly lucked out finding this place. It was magical - - from the railroad walk, to the backyard creek and beautiful hens. Krista was a great host. She left us some fresh eggs and local coffee beans, which made us feel right at home. House was comfortable and clean. Great kitchen set up for cooking, huge selection of spices.
