House holiday rentals in Yancey County

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

It needs upgrade, kitchen utensils were not enough and also majority of the plates are either worn out or chipped. When spoke to the property management they were understanding and had promised to fix

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

This was by far one of the best places we've stayed in. The host was very responsive even before we booked it. Very attentive and readily available. The place was immaculate and the amenities were wonderful! We felt right at home. They had everything you needed for a large group of people. From the kitchen with plenty of cookware, to the bathrooms replenished with what was needed. I highly recommend this place and we're hoping to get the same group back with us in the summer.

We had a great time on our Spring Break. Tons of space and a great layout. Our kids loved the game room, and the dog loved the fenced in backyard. The hot tub was lovely as well. Super clean and a very responsive host. No complaints!

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

We went to NC from Florida hoping to experience some cold weather & snow. We found Tami’s house and contacted her about availability. She was an amazing host- helpful and very informed about the area. The house was extremely clean and it had everything we needed for a month in the mountains. We ate out 3 times & the remainder of the time, we cooked our meals there. Appliances were clean and worked like new, linens were plentiful and nice, the washer & dryer was great , the WiFi was “screaming fast” , the tv streaming was a plus and the morning coffee on the deck was perfect. We watched deer in the backyard and she had even decorated for the holiday season. We had another couple that came up the week after Christmas, and the house never seemed crowded. They had snow a number of days and even though the temperature got down to 14 degrees, we were warm & toasty in the house. When we go back to North Carolina, we will definitely stay in Tami’s home. It was great.

Very responsive hosts. Weather caused a disruption in electricity but the host made sure to update every step of the way. There was a feeling of safety even though the inclement weather caused some uncertainty.

This was a perfect stay away from home! The space was far bigger than we realized, we felt at home there, and loved the views. Comfy bed/clean/fun!! Thank you guys!

This was a perfect place for a short weekend getaway for me and my wife. The location was convenient and close enough to plenty of adventure. The property was very peaceful with many beautiful views. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed staying here. We also brought our dog and he enjoyed getting to run in the large grass area around the house.

Owls nest is a beautiful house in a great location! Some coworkers and I were in town for work and needed a house big enough for us. Owls nest was perfect!!! Great communication! Very clean! Would definitely be recommending to any and everyone coming near the Mars hills area.

We came to volunteer for the community. We had everything we needed and response time was great and informative! All as expected and helped to be close to our volunteer assignment! Thank you!!

Everything great , just keep in mind that the neighbor downstairs smoke a lot and the smell of tobacco or maybe weed is very high, specially for non-smokers people like us was a bit uncomfortable. Besides that it’s a beautiful place to stay 🫶🏼

A great place to stay. We had 12 family members attending a wedding in the area. Everyone loved the home. It's a historic home, but all the modern conveniences.

Ila’s place is a beautiful and peaceful mountain retreat, even more so than the photos portray. Her home is clean, spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed (and then some!) We stayed with our teenage daughter, who slept in the downstairs bedroom and loved her private bath and hideaway. Ila was welcoming and responsive- a perfect host. We absolutely would return to her lovely home again. Thank you, Ila!

Thank you so much! We love This place, especially view, hot tub and sauna, we have some issue with bee ( this is nature) and gate access but host respond fast and help us in all what we need. Recommend if you want to spend your time in wild nature

The Honeycomb Hideout was quite simply the best experience! The Bee theme is very cool and it is a very warm and inviting location. I had my parents with me, as we were attending a family wedding. The amenities are on point, loved the coffee and the amazing space to relax and enjoy the company of each other at our stay. Although we didn't get to use the firepit or the outside porch much, since we were attending a wedding, it was a nice quiet slice of NC mountain area that was very relaxing and enjoyable. We watched the horses in the next door pasture and really had a great relaxing time. If you get the chance, you definitely need to visit and enjoy the scenery..hopefully we will be back for one of the festivals in bakersville! Thanks for a great stay Andrea!

Great location. The rental was very clean and had all the basics. Kathy was very responsive, easy to get in contact with, and pleasant. There were 12 of us, we had a great time! First time spending Thanksgiving in the mountains and it was awesome!

This home was exactly as described in the listing. My family decided last minute to head to the mountains for Spring Break and Matt and his team were very accommodating. Each space was well designed and thought out, giving everyone a little privacy when needed. Spaces are very clean. We would recommend this space for anyone looking to enjoy their family time with ability to have privacy, if needed.

This house was wonderful. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The setting is beautiful. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and my wife and I loved the welcoming living room and spacious kitchen. We will definitely be back.
