Holiday houses in Yan Ta Khao

Very comfortable, super internet (strong wifi, with a speedtest of 30Mbit download, 5Mbit upload: ideal for working, voip, movie streaming). It is a family run hostel (so expect an excellent care for your stay!): Ratita will take care of all details. Great has been the free pick up from the Airport (which is 8km far away, with no public transport I realised later). Great the information I received for my next move to Lanta: the location of the hostel is very close to the public bus station, and with Ratita's tip I could arrange my trip to Lanta with only 250Baht. The room is brand new, single (did not have to share), with big TV screen, with movie channels. The place is open 24x7, with your own personal and secure key (places is mostly a host place for local students and workers, security is not an issue at all). I would recommend especially to how is searching a quiet place in his/her stop in the way to the islands. Location is also close by a big mall (Robinson) and Biz Plaza (night market).

The accommodation is very clean, the bathroom and toilet are almost luxurious. The staff is efficient and friendly (we were even able to take the room well before the theoretical check-in time), and the perfect location between the train station and the night market!

The accommodation is spotless clean with an A/C and a silent fan. The room for 4 is big and simple, the kitchen and the sitting area are very comfortable. The fresh beer in the fridge was welcomed :) The cafe serves excellent coffee, hot chocolate and ice teas. I’m truly sorry haven’t had time to taste one of the beautiful cakes. What makes this place special is Dear! I’ve never had so enthusiastic host. She gave us all information for an successful evening and she spent the entire morning with us showing us where to go for a Chinese breakfast, for the Trang’s special crispy pork, for the morning market.. she turned our stay in wonderful experience!

Fantastic Stay! With this property you are basically paying for one of the best views in Thailand! However you will need a car to access this property, without one you would be pretty stuck. The building itself is a unique and interesting design, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it but all was good! Pakawadee and her family were very helpful throughout our stay. If you love finding hidden gems that are authentic and away from tourist hell, then look no further than this place! Fully Reccomend!

This guest house has a perfect location near the train station, the markets and some points of interest in the city. And the rooftop is a real plus!

Very comfortable bed cozy quiet location I recommend:)

Early February 2025. Neat hotel. There is no elevator. 2 floors. There is a family room for 5 adults. The room had two separate single beds and a bunk bed with a rolling out mattress . You can roll off the bed a little for passage. The mattress turned out between the toilet door and the bunk bed. In our room. The linen is fresh and clean. We stayed one night. Everyone slept. The running water heater in the shower needs to be turned on properly. In the shower, you will find gel, shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer is available . Air conditioning is available. There is a refrigerator, kettle, mugs , tea and coffee in the room. Good internet. There is no wardrobe. The hotel is a little away from the road . Quite quiet . Parking is available. There are cafes restaurants bars within a 5-minute walk. 5 minutes walk also to the clock and a monument with sea cows. It's a 3-minute walk from the hours to the street. We checked in on the next street on Saturday night there was a temporary market. Good experience.

We stayed at Siripakorn and Matt’s villa for a month and had an absolutely amazing time. The villa is located in a more authentic, less touristy part of Thailand which we really appreciated, and the views from every corner of the house are simply magical. Siripakorn and Matt were incredible hosts, warm, helpful, and always responsive. The internet is fast and stable throughout the villa, making it perfect for remote work. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable, with good A/C in every room. It’s also a perfect base for visiting the nearby islands, which are absolutely gorgeous and easy to reach. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would love to come back!
