Better than expected! Very clean, peaceful neighborhood and just a short walk to the trail and a few spots to eat in town. As others have mentioned, the view is GORGE-OUS and you'll know why it's called the Hawk's Nest :) Would highly recommend and planning my next stay!

A sweet little cabin, located in a lovely garden behind a private home in a residential neighborhood above Hood River. Quiet. Private. Nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, soft sheets, comforters, and down pillows. Free parking. Short walk to town and to nearby hiking trail. Lindsay was a friendly and gracious host. I'd definitely stay there again!

We wish to express our deepest gratitude for our respite at the yurt. Ann is an angel. The space has such a great feel. Comfortable. Had everything we needed to make our own meals. Shower was amazing! Gorgeous barn features. Enjoyed every moment de-stressing in the yurt, on the porch, the hammock, and observing the beautiful landscape and surroundings. Easy access to local nature spots and water activities. There was a huge storm that passed through during our stay. The yurt held up great. Quite nice to have some rain to cool things off and make everything shiny from a dirty dry summer. One thing, bring earplugs. At night the sound from highways and trains travels through the canyons and is amplified. Kept us awake the first night. Not a problem with earplugs. We look forward to coming back again some time. 🙏☺️

Clean spacious and comfortable room. In a great location on the quiet side of the Columbia River yet close to everything we wanted to do. Leigh was a great host.

Love this place! Our second time back! The porch has a great view where we’ve sat and watched the sunset. We also love the movie theme and fancy recliners! Beautiful yard too! Would be great for a family with kids or just adults. Hot tub was clear and clean too! Cute little bar area outside next to it with a fan. Highly recommend!

I lived here for three months while interning at PNNL and had a fantastic experience. Cozy apartment and quick walk to supermarket, restaurants, river and bus station going to PNNL. Highly recommended!

The Modern Farmhouse was a great place to stay. It was exactly as pictured and was very comfortable. The amenities were great and the place was spotless when we arrived. It is also close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend Sean’s listing, as we greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sean.

Eva’s was the perfect getaway for our out of town wedding. The scenery was beautiful. The home was comfortable and had everything you needed. We sat outside on the deck each night and just listened to the outdoors. If we ever find ourselves on the west coast again, we would absolutely stay again!

We kept saying over and over, "what a nice place." Because it is! The owners did a top notch restoration on this place and added quality upgrades, including great air conditioning! It is in a beautiful, quiet setting and has very nice new landscaping. Very clean, and more than enough linens, pillows and a kitchen loaded with nice dishes and cookware. So much nicer than a hotel. Comfy and cozy!

Jenell’s place truly feels like a home away from home. It’s got everything —— kitchen supplies, toys, even a massage chair. The house is new and clean. The outdoor landscaping is well maintained.

What a wonderful stay ! It’s easy to find with the host’s clear instructions; communication was very good; check in was easy. There was a bullet point list of instructions when we arrived which we much appreciated. The apt was so clean and so well appointed, with lovely finishings and a beautiful well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom. Plenty of room, nice linens, - everything you could need in beautiful surroundings. The patio is a bonus - we drank coffee out front in the mornings and thoroughly enjoyed that. The washer/dryer are quite convenient and having tv with streaming services available was quite nice in the evenings. We look forward to returning!

A tidy and clean spot with charming character! We especially enjoyed walking a few blocks to charming downtown (ice cream and Logan’s are excellent!). Space was well-kept and well-maintained. Stairs to enter (if access is a concern). Jessica was very helpful directing us to parking space after phone gps steered us wrong. Overall this comes with my hearty recommendation!

This was the best place to stay. After a long trip from Scotland, I can’t talk highly enough about it. It is more than comfortable by being perfectly clean, so well equipped, gorgeous artistic style and peaceful environment. Private entrance and great parking space makes it so easy to unload/ load luggage. I absolutely recommend Brooke’s home. I sincerely hope I can return in the future. Thank you Brooke for allowing us to stay in your tranquil and relaxing home in WA.

Perfect place to stay while we were working in othello, everything was perfect.

Great stay for a weekend swim meet. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. May not be comfortable for really tall people - the slant in the bathroom and bedroom ceiling made me wonder if I was going to hit my head at times (I'm 5'8") but otherwise great place. Very friendly hosts and great communication. Would return!!

Wonderful experience! I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at the cabin in the woods. The cabin was well maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities you needed for comfort, including thoughtful touches like popcorn my after your hike. Being surrounded by nature and feeling fortunate to have found such a special place definitely adds to the charm of my vacation. It's great to know that the location also provided convenient access to local bars and grills, making my trip even more enjoyable. It was the essence of a peaceful retreat in the woods, and hope it will inspire others looking for a similar getaway. Thanks again for sharing your perfect home in the woods!

This place is a gem and Shiloh is the best host. This is our 5th visit and it never disappoints. It’s the perfect size for our family of 4. Very comfortable and includes all of the amenities that you could need! Love it!

Such a cute place to stay… Cozy but big enough to be comfortable. We said we could live there! Easy drive into town and a quick trip to White Pass. Highly commend.
