You can’t argue with all the other great reviews. Little Waves is located in a peaceful cul de sac and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Seahouses. Having its own parking spot is a real bonus. Karen’s place is brilliantly appointed with everything you would need for a fantastic stay, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Check in was easy and Karen was a super host, responding quickly to any questions we had. All in all, highly recommended.

I cannot fault this place, beautiful inside and full of character with everything you would need for a holiday. Located centrally with everything Kelso has to offer on your doorstep. Highly recommended!

Charles and Jane were excellent hosts. The apartment is in the basement of the house, but was not a problem to access down to, even for our dogs. The croissants and home made jam were a lovely touch. All in all a lovely stay, although brief. We certainly would stay again if in the area.

Great stay at a prime location in the heart of old town. We loved being able to walk to everything we wanted to see in Edinburgh.

The house was in a fantastic location. House was tidy and clean. Parking was easy. Kids loved the upper seating area.

You could not ask for a better view! The space was comfortable and thoughtfully designed. It was easy to get everywhere from here. Overpackers beware— the three story stairs are no joke, but absolutely worth the view!

We had a great time in and around Alnwick. Tom and Emma’s place was perfect for our requirements. It was super clean and fresh with great amenities. Communication was top notch. Easy walk to Alnwick Gardens and Castle. Top tip, if you want to eat at The Jolly Fisherman at Craster, book well ahead!

We absolutely loved the house, great location and really comfortable and nicely done with everything we needed. The welcome basket was amazing and Jacqui was very helpful and responsive, would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Immaculate property. Lovely big kitchen/ dining / living area, with an additional living room- well equipped with beautiful old books and lots of games. Gorgeous garden, very private, and amazing views. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Everything we wanted and more. We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking / yoga weekend- and we loved everything. We can’t wait to return.

Great accommodation for two to four people with everything you need for your stay. Ideal location for Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Holy Island. Plenty of trails for walking. There’s a pub and a Co-op nearby for any essentials you might need. Would recommend if you are looking to stay in the area.

Fabulous place no expense spared in the accommodation. Could not say a negative word about it . French restaurant and the Indian restaurant were excellent . Great place for exploring other surrounding areas . Corbridge is really worth a visit too and only a few miles away .

We had a wonderful week in Woodpecker cottage. The whole family - grandma through to toddler loved the cottage, immediate location - gardens, fire area, viewing platform, chickens and wild birds, and Northumberland with it's beaches and castles. The cottage was bigger than expected. Harvest is a wonderful host, friendly, very approachable and wanting to help. Thank you!

A smart, modern apartment, very well equipped, walkable to the local bars, pubs and shops. Cannot complain.

Very comfortable, everything you could need was provided. Helpful information in folder within the apartment which answered all the questions about the apartment and the area. Parking easy with clear instructions provided. Amazing view of castle and great to watch the lighting of the beacon in remembrance of VE Day from window. All in all, a great apartment in a great location with seamless communication with owners. Thank you.

Fabulous attic flat with great views and right in the middle of town. So much space and airy feel with all the windows. Loved the open plan kitchen. Parking was fine and the hosts instructions were spot on. Fantastic art gallery round the corner. The castle and Gardens were everything we hoped for.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

Spacious studio with fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds with clean bed linens. Clean shower room. We had no problem with parking. It was easy to find the place and get in by following the instructions given. Wi-Fi was also good. Cant comment on restaurants in the locality, but there is big Tesco in 2 mins drive.

Myself, my partner and friends visited for the weekend and had a fab time. Lesley-Ann was a brilliant host and the apartment was beautiful in the perfect location. The handbook was filled with loads of info on things to do, recommended restaurants and bars etc. Would 100% stay again and would recommend highly ❤️
